Congress wrote the constitution and it has the ultimate legal authority not the President, Supreme Court and certainly not the Military. The President, vice President and Officers of the United States can only be tried and convicted in impeachment proceedings before Congress. The house must vote by 2/3 rd's majority to impeach and the senate by a 2/3 rd's majority to convict.

I don't trust Muller any father than you can through him. The FBI was reigned in after its exposure in Cointelpro, the Church committee hearings, Attorney General v. Socialist Workers Party and by the Citizens Committee to investigate the FBI. When you hear people talk about the 'deep state' this is what they are really talking about. The Attorney General changes as does the President but Hover was in office starting with the first Red Scare after WW1 until death in 1970. It was said that no politician in his right mind would touch Hoover because he had spies everywhere.

One reason? How about enforcement of the Patriot act. A clearly unconstitutional act rammed through Congress by the leaders of both parties without even time to read it.

He's not my president but Patriot Act was bipartisan not a pet project of Bush. It went through the Senate 98-0. Hitler's gestapo was also entrusted to carry out the law. Obama promised to close down Torture Camp X-ray. What gets me the most is this liberal hipcorcy it all OK when it's done by a Democrat but if Republican does it a big hue and cry is raised. Its anyone but Trump. Then what? Mike Pence or will Muller find some dirt on him? Will they bring back Queen Hillary? Nope because she is all washed up and dried out like an old oak leaf. The whole thing is a big sharade. Liberals make promises they have no intention of keeping. Reagan launched an attack on welfare mothers but it was Clinton who signed TANF into law. The Clinton's stopped campaigning just so they could go back to Arkansas and preside over the execution of a mentally retarded man. Clinton signed into law the Antiterrorism and effective Death Penalty act. Both Bill Clinton and Obama promised universal healthcare instead we are stuck with a rebranded version of Massachusetts Republican Romney Care.

Right wing bogeyman? Nope career agents are the ones involved in and responsible for carrying out mass surveillance. Years ago the had the legal mail cover where the collected names and addresses of mail going to political enemies. Then if that wasn't enough CIA sneaked the letters into private rooms where they were open and read. The sent ML King a letter urging him to commit suicide or be drawn into a sex scandal. The had the Chicago cops go and outright murder Fred Hampton.

Sure you're sorry that's what the all say and promise we won't do it again. I call it political amnesia if you actually believe those lies and promises. They promised never to do what they did in Vietnam either. Now we are in endless war on terror and all congress can do is argue with Trump over who should run the VA.

Trump's popularity has rose since he promised to meet with Kim Jong Un and sign a peace treaty. Wall Street is happy with the tax breaks so the liberals who say anyone but Trump are fading out. Trump has promised to allow the Veterans to seek private doctors despite it costing more so his popularity is rising their also. He is a hard guy to pin down but he isn't turning the country into a fascist state or going for nuclear war.

Peter Blood the reason you say zzZZZ is because liberal hypocrisy is true. That's why you ignore the real recond of Democratic Party liberals as I have pointed out and instead preferring go back to taking a nap like all liberals do when someone questions their anti working class policies.

What Muller was brought into do was create a frame up so Trump could be impeached. At the end of the day like many traditional FBI frame jobs it had to go down and dirty into someone's personal life. Who cares what he did or didn't do with Stormy Daniels. Now it seems that the FBI or Military intelligence had a fink inside the Trump campaign for nefarious purpose.

The sixth amendment protects the client attorney relationship so a search and seizure of a lawyers office is an extremely serious matter. The fourth amendment requires an oath or affirmation before a judge that a crime has been committed and the naming of things and papers to be seized. A judge cannot simply issue a warrant for a fishing expedition by the police.

Actually reading laws and understanding them is considered the province of lawyers. So anyone who isn't sure about what a law means will seek the legal council of a lawyer. That is where the lawyer client privilege applies. It allows a client and attorney to discuss an action before embarking on it. Also sometimes an average person may think something is illegal when in fact it is not.

The highly classified documents thing is much ado about nothing. Leakers have been part of the way the system works for a long time now. Congress will not take down a President over a simple leaking issue.

Your right I'm not the patriotic right winger you are. I am for transparency in government not just for one party but also the other party. Daniel Ellsberg did not do a day in jail. They threatened Chelsea Manning with the death penalty and then she was convicted and given life in prison under the Obama regime. She spent only a few months in prison. The first victim of the so called 1917 espionage act was Eugene Debs he was convicted while a Democrat and KKK leader Woodrow Wilson sat in the White House. You can take you band of liberals and place them where the sun doesn't shine. The Socialist Debs received a million votes for president while in federal prison.

They also don't get to just grab whatever. The warrant is suppose to be limited to the papers and things to be seized. in the past the FBI seized books on sale to the public in the government's efforts to prove a violation of the Smith 'gag' act. Trump has turned over all kinds of documents so Robert Muller can go on a fishing expedition into a Trump-Russia connection. So far all he has is conjecture, chargers of lying and obstruction of justice but no real evidence of collisions between Trump and Putin. This latest thing concerns a payoff for silence in the Stormy Daniels affair. She previously set up an exploratory committee for a senate seat in which her campaign managers automobile blew up. It would more interesting in knowing why and how her campaign managers automobile blew up. Had she not been previously involved in politics her credibility would be higher than it is now. Trump having affairs is no different than Bill Clinton. Nor can Trump be held accountable for things his campaigners do of questionable ethics or legality. Muller should be forced to end his open ended investigation. A limit should be set to either produce or hault. This kind of thing went on for years by the FBI against government opponents despite changes of administrations. It smacks of secret police conduct.

Muller is former head of the FBI the premier US federal secret police agency. People like him are experts in the frame up methods carried out by J Edgar Hoover in the past. The create fire out of smoke. They operate under the idea that if we search far and wide enough you must be guilty of something. Obstruction of Justice is a charge they can throw at anyone for not cooperating with the cops. The computer fraud abuse act? Tim Wu a Columbia law professor and Democrat called it the worst law in technology. A teenager watching porn on a school or library network or a sailor doing the same shipboard could possibly be convicted. Campaign finance law? You mean the laws which supposedly take big money out of politics after the Nixon regime fell? I don't think it stopped a dime from reaching Hillary Clinton. If these laws do anything it is to expose the small campaign contributor to possible harassment especially by his employer. Conspiracy needs to have an underlying crime and an agreement to commit the crime even if the crime is never carried out. It's a great law because a guilty party need not do much more than finger conspirators and it can come very close if not actually to entrapment.

The FBI did not exist until after WW1. The previous federal police force was very small consisting mostly of Federal Marshals, Secret Service and Postal Inspectors. The FBI has been a political police organization since its founding. At one time they had a spy in every union local in the country. They are a threat to political rights and freedoms as set down in the US Bill of Rights. They have even bypassed the ultra secret FISA court of special federal judges. Their showing up at public libraries with orders not to even tell an attorney about them having been there after the Patriot Act was clearly an attack on the first amendment and the fourth amendment. Like all cops they do as they are ordered. Propaganda about taking on organized crime and the 'mob' is just that it provides them a reason to exist.
