  1. Oliver North the man who traded war materials to Iran for the ability to arm contras in Nicaragua. Hero of the Reaganites and Presidential overreach by going specifically against the Congress's resolution not to arm the contra's. If he were a supply sergeant he'd been Court Martialed. Instead he became a hero of both parties and the return of secret Presidential power to make war against the stated wishes of Congress. The constitution gives Congress the power to make war not the President but that would allow debate something the ruling class can not stand.
