Evan Scammell Right he would have been so much more valuable if he done something like George Soros and shorted the Bank of England for a 9 Billion pounds sterling. No wonder the rest of the Billionaire class are afraid of Soros he could short them tomorrow and leave them sitting outside of the homeless shelter the next day.

There is no linkage between smart people and the rich other than the say so of the rich who attend elite Poison Ivy universities. Those who work hardest like farmworkers get the lowest wages. Those who do the least walk to the mailbox every three months for a dividend check.

The very workings of capitalism create the break up of families. Why pay the wage necessary to have a family when all you need is a single worker? To address crime one would have to arrest the professional swindlers of finance capitalism. The cops don't arrest their masters when law written by corrupt politicians. The best decision a worker can make is to join a union.

@eoin4172 The capitalist spend a lot of time creating needs that are unnecessary like all the luxury goods. Capitalists need police and military violence to defend the profit system. To win the battle of the market the Generals who can discharge more troops are the winners in the battle for market share. Yes the capitalist who loses is eaten up by his fellow capitalists who are motivated by the instincts of the cannibal.

@drakadog7405 I always thought I would do well as an electronic technician until that whole industry left for Mexico and latter China.

David Francisco Economic freedom to buy and sell is the only freedom which is guaranteed by capitalism. This freedom can only lead to monopoly, depression and war. A freedom for which the majority become slaves to that only freedom. A freedom which sets a price on everything including the free elections held under the rules of the free market.

@grawss Oh so your another Libertarian who spends all day trying to separate Capitalism form Capitalism's governmental executive committee. Everyone knows those politicians are owned lock stock and barrel by the capitalist class. Trained in Capitalism's ideology at the elite universities and elected with corporate money.
2
@grawss Do you really think I'm stupid enough to believe in the tail of Lemonade Stand capitalism? Where a poor boy makes good by fight off government lemon inspectors rising to the top like Jeff Bezos?
2
@mattheweven4764 Our solution to the capitalist wars and economic crisis is for the working people to take power from the capitalists, their government and their parties.

@AlexNepali In China wages are rising due to strikes. In the US wages have been stagnant since 1973. Guess what time it is in the US? Strike Time!!! "Communist" Teachers by striking are leading the way into battles with the "Capitalist Running Dogs of America "

@samjames995555 Twain also started the American anti Imperialist league.

@grawss Bill Clinton signed the first attack on the social security act ending AFDC which was known as mothers aid in 1935. He replaced it with TANF saying it would lead from a lifetime of welfare to a job. It was proclaimed as a welfare to work program.. Now there are more broken families of all colors not fewer. The Johnson era added Medicaid and Medicare. Doesn't it bother you that back in the 1950's their wasn't the large homeless population their is today? Starting with Kennedy they changed the way the unemployed are counted is such that it appears that recovery has fixed the approx. 10 year business cycle of an increasing the percentage of the unemployed.
1
@grawss The Personal Responsibility and Work Opportunity Reconciliation Act of 1996 Signed by Bill Clinton. Ironic because the whole reason for setting up a corporation big or small is to AVOID personal responsibility for the shareholders. Of the two Black women at the signing of the bill by Bill Clinton Lillie Harden is died because she no longer qualified for Medicaid to pay for the medicine she needed . You should be proud because you really needed those tax cuts and bigger profits to stave off bankruptcy and Lillie kids no longer had a mother. She is someone who you don't have the time of day for. To busy counting ever penny of profits.

@Diabolical05 A capitalist who can't make a profit deserves to go out of business. Karl Marx. Capitalists say "TAXES BAD" That's why Jeff Bezos doesn't pay any while a Black man is placed in a choke hold and killed over 59 cents or whatever in cigarette taxes.
1
@Diabolical05 You want to deny that Eric Garner was placed into a choke hold over the cigarette tax? That his pleas for help were ignored and he died? That Amazon had a zero Federal income tax liability? Go ahead keep denying reality. Even one of you fellow 1 percenters Tucker Carlson see's the revolutionary writings on the wall. He didn't call them a "Ship of Fools" because he thinks their wise men. Your headed down the road of Louis the XVI. Instead of "..Let them Eat Cake..." You say, "Let them become Billionaires".
1
@Aussie Pom Chinese workers are already striking which shows they are not a docile group as Western propaganda portrays.
1
@cftpafan Democratic Socialism is capitalism with social democratic traitors in charge.
1
@cftpafan Chomsky worships the Spanish CNT but the closest he gets to being a revolutionary is the 'sit down' strikes waged by the American Association of University Professors from bourgois university chairs.
1
@cftpafan Antifa does more harm than good because they are ultra left numbskulls who believe, "..only they can prevent fascism..." Instead of mass mobilization against fascists they play much the same role as anarchist trash barrel revolutionaires. The are the saviors and protectors of nonviolent liberals like Harvard Professor Cornel West. The good Professor West becomes alarmed when the police stop providing protection. The only thing these people are capable of is braying like goats as they lead the sheep to the slaughter hose.
1
@cftpafan Everybody advocates for a revolution included Bourgois Professors of Management who talk endess about a management revolution. I was a student at MIT during the antiwar years to the best of my knowledge Chomsky never left his office unless he was invited to speak at a rally. I lived with his most influenced admirer and probably most well know radical at MIT did he ever come to see him at our living space? I certainly don't remember him doing that. To meet with the Great Chomsky one needed an appointment. We got more attention from MIT administrators than him.

@IcemanJuice The problem with 'Democratic Socialism" is that they woory about how much power can or should they share with the capitalists. They are usually utopian in outlook and fail miserably when it comes to a real strategy to implement socialism they look to radical capitalist for help and privileged professors for guidance instead of the workers and the writings and experiences in the past class struggle. That's what reflects their joy in being accepted into the bosses Democratic Party.
1
@MrKnowdatruth Trump is a class dictator in the same way Obama was. His government dictates to the working class how capitalism is to be organized and run. That's why it makes little difference between which party controls Congress or the Presidency.
1
@eoin4172 Yes the US Federal and State gulags are setting records for the numbers locked away and under cop supervision beating those of Stalin. Obviously capitalism is winning the battle of the gulag.

David Francisco Participating in capitalism is not the same as owning private property (the property used to exploit others). The Marxists goal can be summed up as abolish private property. The same way the US civil war can be summed up as abolishing human property. Property itself is a concept invented by people much the same as religion is also an invention of people. The plains indians had no concept of land as property because their way of life needed no such concept.
