@jacqueslee2592 The problem is NOT overpopulation but the capitalist system and they way it works with constant insecurity. Its boom and bust cycles and the declining profit rates of basic industry.

@Dr.Beetlejuice110 Its the change from farming to industrial worker. Another child on the farm always meant another hand to lighten the load and farm familes produced most of their own food. A worker is paid onlt enough to return to work for the next pay period more children only means more mouths to feed.

@hibentley Sure leave the world in the bands of these greedy capitalist classes whose drive for profis means the lowest wages and the longest hours such that the workers have no time to create and have a family. Tell everyone you aren't the problem but its decline of religious morality and that capitalism is the source of the best. Equal rights for the individual to become as greedy as they please. After all your creating opportunity and giving everyone a chance by making the breaking of glass ceiling possible.

@phoenixrising4995 Antibiotics is a mere technical change no one thinks about it before having children. People think about how they will support and pay for them. Like I said you live on a farm than the economic unit is the family and another child means another hand to do the work as soon as one is old enough to work. If you a worker another child means more family expense without any more income. Capitalism seeks to pay the lowest wages for the longest hours. As machines replace labor the rate of profit falls and the capitalist seek to further cut wages. The capitalist is only interested in what his accountants tell him. He seek to run his business to maximize profits.

@anomicity3904 Petersen's says, "Karl Marx is a mass murder." also how am I supposed to respond to the ridiculous? The man writes rules for other to follow that he himself can't. He goes into long diatribes over Stalin and Mao but names his daughter after the last Stalinist leader of the Soviet Union Mikhail Gorbachev who rose to power by writing the most slavish praise of the Great Leader Joe Stalin. The man is part of a culture of finger pointers who ignore everything their own ruling capitalist classes have done. For him all problems both past and present can be laid at the doorstep of Karl Marx.
