@vantaplat7411 We won the Minneapolis General Strike despite the mobilization of National Guard troops. West Virginia coal miners told Truman in the middle of World war 2 bayonet's don't dig coal. The army is made up of young workers and farmers in uniform. Brass hat orders to fire on their unarmed brothers, sisters, mothers and fathers will not go over well. The Russian Czar was forced to abdicate during the war when strikes broke out in St Petersburg. Many south Korean dictators were forced to flea after protests despite calling out the military. A government that calls out the armed forces is a last ditch effort to save itself.

@aycc-nbh7289 Bosses don't care if workers can get water to drink as it is now. Cities like Jacksom MS and Flint, Mi had drinking water crisis without a rail strike.
6
@Daniel-yy3ty Shareholders striking can be fought by going to work and producing anyway. The bosses shut down because of overproduction so when the workers ignore the bosses and keep producing you destroy the capitalist market and profits this puts him in the position of having to find a job and go to work like everyone else. That's how you abolish private property.
4
@NoName-lq6vw Nevertheless the bosses are always trying to get the union officials to keep up "their half of the bargain."
4
@vantaplat7411 Class struggle and mobilization is the road to socialism not electing liberals to te capitalist government.
4
@timcombs2730 Like most policeman your good at character assassination and not much else. Nothing like presenting the learned opinion of a law enforcement professional to a court where the defendant has no way to refute the false testimony.
4
@timcombs2730 I've had to defend myself from assholes since I was a kid. So what do I need the police for? Your expected to deal with all the people who become alienated from the rest of society for your daily job. But what they really rely on you for is riot squad duty. If I were you I'd quit and do something else. Its a thank less job that isn't worth the pay.
4
You right lead an extremely sheltered life i wasn't born in Cuba Vietnam or Korea to a peasant family living in a primitive home only to have bombs dropped on my village. Instead the riot police taught me about life when the shot the me in the back with a teargas grenade. Now you can justify that anyway you want but I was unarmed and the riot police had no legal right to attack unarmed antiwar demonstrators on a college campus when the administration denied calling them.
4
@timcombs2730 Nope I just wandered into it. Maybe you can become like George Orwell he was an Imperial Policeman in Burma at one time.
4
@timcombs2730 The problem with Marxism as region is that it implies a static philosophical view. Despite the end of the cold war none of the basic problems of capitalism that brought about world war one have been resolved. American Imperialism is in decline, a huge working class has been created from poor Chinese peasants and war has broken out in Europe. Hardly the "New World Order" where the rule of law replaces the rule of the jungle as stated by Bush. When has Democratic Imperialism ever talked about putting a former President in prison. I remember 1989 well Reagan and Thatcher saying the had won the cold war talking about the end of history. The ruling classes are too greedy and to nationalistic which is why their rule and that of capitalism will come to an end. See Donald Trump asked questions the liberals couldn't answer and they fear those workers who backed Trump because they couldn't understand why they were left out of American capitalism's global plans. You figure out how to get American capitalism to grow like it did from 1945 to 1973 without world war three and they'll give you a dozen Noble prizes.
4
@YTStopCensoringFreedomOfspeech It is illegal to terminate anyone for union membership. However the bosses ignore thr law and terminate workers anyway.
4
@HollyOak It going the direction it always has as apologists for big business in its drive for maximum profits.
3
@timcombs2730 I gave you my best advice already. You could always try another job on the side and just say your doing it for the extra money. The advantage of NOT working for the government is Social Security.
3
@YTStopCensoringFreedomOfspeech Actually your status as an independent contractor is determined by law not necessarily by what the company chooses to call you in a contract. Usually the difference is determined by how much of the job is managed by you and how independently you are in the relationship. Miss classification is a way for bosses to save lots on overtime. The bosses usually have to pay you a piece rate rather than hourly to pull this scam off. Taxi driver is the most common independent contractor because you are the one who determines most of what is done and you are paid a percentage of the meter or flat rate charge. If its on the up and up they probably gave you a copy of the contract they had you sign if not they probably kept it in case you complain later on. Keep records of your working time because most likely they aren't or are destroying them.

@Daniel-yy3ty Imperialism is the highest stage of capitalism.
2
@coolioso808 Patients. A successful battle will inspire others and enable a change in union leadership to one more class struggle orientated. One may have to wait ten years sometimes and other times 10 years can go by in 10 months.
2
@GenerationX1984 Natural the MSM is he mouthpiece for big business. Its owners and profit makers also.
2
@mespabilo It will cost the boss some of the record profits.
2
@CrowTR0bot Bosses want to control everything for their benefit the price, the wage and then have the politicians shove everything down our throats.
2
@mickwayne3398 Warren Buffet is this years scrooge. He buys politicians brags about paying less taxes then his secretary and drives a desk for a few billion a year. Scrooge Buffets idea is you drive a train with over 100 cars at 70 mph with no sleep with a conductor in the same shape what Buffet wants is to pay the Engineer a few more dollars and to fire the conductor.
2
@breakingmadeline3063 Some people are better off without their spouse.
2
@yeanah2571 The rail workers are going easy on the bosses they would only cost them about a penny out of every dollar in profits, Years ago an Eastern Airlines boss wanted out of a union contract and ended up in bankrupsy court with nothing instead. Their slogan was just one more day when they were on strike.
2
@isaiahcastrejon8484 The goal of socialism is to remove things from the market such that they are available to all You can do this by producing for human needs where the workers see what they are doing is part of life and work is not something that is alien to you like it is under capitalism where industrial commodities are produced to make profits for the capitalists. To drive profits their way the capitalist are in a constant drive to cut production time by the use of new machines. They replace higher paid skilled labor with machines and unskilled labor first. The agricultural ruling classes religiously worshiped what made they considered that made great them great. The water the land and the seasons of the year. They developed the first mathematics to count what the kept in storage and written records of their lives. The modern capitalist has a religion also he worships the machine, mathematics and science as his greatest benefactors. This is why the love the idea of Cryptocurrency. It is the promise of private and secret exchange paid for by the mining of special numbers found by computer time invested such that a ledger book can be verified. A supposed fool proof way of quarenteeing honesty. As one can see a MIT computer genius has now be arrested in a scandel where billions of dollars in crypto disappeared.
1
@vg7985 Ya its always just accept the bosses latest greatest offer of give us more work with less workers because we need to make bigger profits to pay for campaign donations and wall street speculators. Too bad about the skin flint business owner who is teetering on the verge of bankruptcy. They wanted to play the game now they can pay for the bankers greed.
1
@aycc-nbh7289 A strike will stop the flow of profits into the bosses pocket books.
1
@aycc-nbh7289 Its a class vs class thing. If the workers want to strike I'm behind them 100%. The Bosses like Warren Buffet are hiding behind bought and sold politicians of both parties in Congress. The railroads need to hire more workers and cut Bosses like Buffets pay. All Bosses like Buffet do is grab more for themselves.
1
@aycc-nbh7289 We will cross that bridge when we come to it. Don't bring up the irrelevant as a defense to the unjust. If the bosses want to cry poverty than they can open their books to union inspection. The bosses are the ones who are getting something for nothing.
1
@aycc-nbh7289 Hitlers plans to create an Empire were published in Mein Kampf. Its more likely that other workers will take strike action against the bosses who have been making record profits. If the bosses want to keep their system than they need to put people to work and stop acting like a bunch of cry babies. They are becoming too expensive for the rest of us.
1
@aycc-nbh7289 The bosses have been making record profits and laying off thousands. They want to keep cutting crew sizes and lengthing trains. They want to ignore safety for bigger profits. They need to stop hiding behind the Congressmen who seats the buy with donations to both parties. Railroad bosses are know for telling the government what they want and getting their way despite which party is in office. .
1
@aycc-nbh7289 At worst people will have to boil or treat water with bleach. Your exaggerating the whole thing. I can guarantee you this that if the capitalist are left in control of things than everything can only get worse. If the workers want to try protesting first that's fine but they've been already doing that. It's their whole worldwide system of trade and production that has been in an unprecedented crisis since 2008.
1
@melelconquistador Capital only produces commodities to be sold in a market for a profits. Once the workers produce more that can be sold for a profit the bosses shut down production to wait for rise in demand. The biggest problem with capitalism is the workers can never buy back all that they can produce leading to economic crisis of overproduction.
1
@GenerationX1984 All capital does is accumulate and demand more because it exists. Private property becomes an obstacle to the development of the productive forces.
1
@coolioso808 We need unions to take on the bosses at work and labor party to take on the bosses government.
1
@coolioso808 The problem with universal basic income is it doesn't address the problems of profit maximization by longer hours at the same wage and it is really just the restitution of a social welfare scheme meant to save capitalism. Their is no reason for the bosses to hand out welfare without a struggle. Why would someone want to work 80 hours if the could work no hours for sustance? Knowledge is power only if the workers can take and use it to advance their class interests. The ruling capitalist class only cares if its social position is threatened. This is why Lenin proposed creating a party of activists instead of trade union secretaries who could explain how every injustice is related to the capitalist system of private property. To lead battles to advance the interests of the most oppressed against the system to meet both the immediate needs and put power into the hands of the producers. This is how the most successful revolutions were lead. Today the Cuban revolution reaches our with medical solidarity and political support of those fighting against the Imperialist system.
1
@coolioso808 A company local, national or international of any size can only succeed by profit maximization at the expense of the workers. The profit comes from our unpaid production labor. That is the laws of capitalism and private property. A strike by the production workers cuts off the source of profits.
1
@coolioso808 See The Militant for info on the rail workers strike perpetration's.
1
@nio804 Capitalism is driven by profit maximization which results in capital becoming nothing but a giant cyst on production. Demands for profit result in economic crisis, All capital does is accumulate and demand a return on investment. For if capital could produce than a perpetual motion machine would be possible.
1
@well.aint.that.a.brat82 Society is class divided the ruling capitalist class monopolizes science and the arts to its own benefit. The dominate ideas of any epic are the ideas of the ruling class.
1
Marx "Workers of the world Unite you have nothing to lose but your chains and a world to win" Hitler "Aryans Unite your a superior race and can rule the world." Hitler wanted an Empire like the British and American capitalists. That's why all three got along so well before 1939. The Soviet Union was invased by all the Imperialist powers upon its founding. .
1
@vantaplat7411 National Security is a bull shit excuse used when ever the ruling class wants to launch a war.
1
@Ryan Robichaud Not true since it will shift production to things working people need and put more workers to work instead of having both workers and capital idle. Somewhere around 40% of industrial capacity in the United States sits idle because the capitalist can't make a profit with it. Arms production is another waste of resources under capitalism.
1
@timcombs2730 Deputy Andy Griffin Your a policeman? So you wouldn't be interested anyhow because your part of the establishment. Drivers don't like cops because you guys hand out all kinds of expensive tickets for stuff like cracked marker lights just so you can earn your pay. You pull a guy over and hes lucky if he can drive away for less than $100.00.
1
@timcombs2730 I think it was some kind of police or FBI setup. You realize Ted Cruz has been asking about FBI informer involvement in Jan. 6th for a reason.
1
@timcombs2730 I'll plead guilty to reading lots of books on history, math, science, and politics. L'm not going to tell you where I live. Why don't you go and read Karl Marx online and then you can fool all those rich "communists" like George Soros. LMAO. Then you can start your own NGO and talk all day about the open society or whatever baloney you want. All you want is personal information so you can write insults. Why should I waste my time refuting your personal insults. Your also wasting your time with the guilt baiting campaign. I'm sure the teach you that in investigators school everyone feels guilty about some mistake or error play upon that to get information or a confession to something or other. I'm not a priest who is hear to give you absolution for your sins either. You have to live with yourself and those around you. Personally I don't know whither to feel angry or sorry for you. You think KarlMarx is the devil incarnate. Well what else is new. If he had nothing to say than he would be unknown.
1
@timcombs2730 Except I'm not a posturing rich kid that just a fantasy of yours. The problem of course it doesn't explain why American Imperialism has been pissing its pants over Cuba and Fidel Castro for the last 60 years. Workers aren't privileged the source of all profits is the unpaid labor of the production workers. A plumber making 30k doesn't have a license and probably can't thread a pipe. Fidel Castro never had a problem educating Doctors unlike the US which need an immigrant to replace ever third Medical Prince who retires.
1
@endcaps1917 The effect of a strike in industry is to shit off the source of profits. Since the profit coms from the workers labor the capitalist can than be put in the position of granting a wage increase and taking a lower rate of profit.
1
@davidlafleche1142 The BIG LIE told by the ultra right where all critics are part of a conspiracy launched by the Communist Party against Capitalist Boss policy. Anyone not receiving endorsement from the John Birch Society News media obviously can't engage in the direct truth about how the bosses maximizing profits come first before all other considerations including rail safety so they have to talk about how the workers refusing boss demands will cause economic disruption. Boss greed is behind the disaster at East Palestine, Ohio. .Wall Street Bosses run the big media companies and they sing the praise of the boss system when ever possible and talk about how reform is possible though greed regulation by those paid to do the bidding of the bosses the capitalist two party stooges. . .
