@modigrey Lenin wanted Stalin out of his position as General Secretary. Would that have made a difference? The basis of unity between Lenin and Trotsky was Lenin's April Theis and Trotsky's realizations that the Bolshevik Party was the type needed for a revolution. Stalin's idea of an alliance with a progressive liberal bourgeois instead of a workers and farmers alliance belongs in the ash heap of history.

They had so overspent that France wanted Gold for dollars and Nixon said no. Kissinger tried his best to win in negotiations with Moscow and Beijing what he couldn't win on the battlefield.

When something no longer exists then it is up to the one who says otherwise to prove that it does. The Confederate States of America no longer exists despite the wishes of a few who live in a make believe world. No one expect US politicians believed and claimed Taiwan (The Republic of China) after 1949 was the government of China except those who refuse to accept reality.

@halt1078 Youtube is censoring me but as I said the Republic of South Vietnam means nothing anymore despite whatever the US claims as it was nothing more than a puppet state with a puppet army created by the United States for its purposes. The Paris Accords was an agreement that the Imperialist USA would extract from Vietnam in return for giving up the military support to its puppets Military Dictatorship. Yours is merely a theory of words on paper it's just a game the US Gov't wants to play so it can defend its own military economic and political interests in the region by citing a piece of paper.

@IAmAlpharius20 The Soviet Union had no capitalist investors and as such was not an Imperialist power defending private property and profits in the rest of the world. With the death of Lenin a struggle broke out in the Party over continuation of a revolutionary communist course or the anti Marxist utopian dream one of the Stalinist bureaucracy building socialism in one country.

Stalin was left with no choice but to Sovietize those nations the Red Army had now occupied or face the Imperialist on his doorstep. He tried to give Churchill Yugoslavia and Greece but was unable to murder Tito. Truman offered half of Korea to Stalin which Stalin had no right to accept.

@jgunner280 No one really can tell you what it is except Rand and all she did was write novel and lecture on her personal moral philosophy that was world saving though capitalism. But of course you have to explain why that's any different than any other religious philosophy based upon a set of rules. She talks about rational minds as if everyone sees everything the same despite what they do or how they make a living. @jasonmuller7551 Actually she proves what defenders of the revolution have always said that it was a great liberating experience.Without the revolution she would not have had a seat at the University that was closed to women and had the whites trumped she may have died in the terrorist jew hating pogroms of the Black Hundreds.
