Lexi Rae In Massachusetts (A Blue Liberal State with pointy headed liberals) you can homeschool your kids after getting approval of teaching plans from the District Superintendent. Once your kid graduates from home school he can then sue the state for not providing him an education. Now if you can't get away with pulling off a scam like that in Mississippi your politicians haven't caught up because they been home schooled.

You need to read the First amendment to the constitution to understand that. "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof;..." since the civil war anything that Congress can't do than neither can the states or local government do. By paying a public school teacher to read a bible on tax paid time you are establish a religion. Now maybe you live somewhere where everyone in your school district attends the same Church so you don't see the obvious problem that parents of different creeds and religions would become obviously unhappy over being taught from the wrong religious book. Catholics have one bible translation different Protestants have many different translations Jews have the Talmud and Muslims the Quran.

You were beaten not because the problem was not being able to get along but because of the class and racial oppression in the United States especially in the capitalist state structure. The tear gas fired by a Black Policeman smells the same as that fired by a Caucasian one. In 1934 they called it "Minneapolis Communism" when we defeated the citizens alliance bosses and turned Minneapolis into a union town. We turned the first 1940 Smith "gag" Act trial into a political trial. We still publish the trial testimony as "Socialism on Trial". During the 1950's witch hunt "The Legless Veteran" Jimmy Kutcher won his job and back pay from the Veterans Administration. We were part of 'Fair Play for Cuba" defending the Cuban Revolution from America Imperialism. We played a role in the Defeat of the Empire in Vietnam.

Lexi Rae "Not everyone can be rich in this world because thats just not how a global economy works." It only works that way because we let it work that way. American School Districts raise their money from property taxes in the District. The district lines are drawn around County, Town or City lines. Those with the money to buy the best homes in the best areas also pay the most property taxes. They are set into areas like cities, towns or counties around which School District lines are drawn. How much money per pupil can be spent is then dependent on where you live. Now if you have a really high disposable income you send your kid to an expensive private school. Like the Country Day school were Bill Gates went to school. If you can't meet that level than maybe a Church or Catholic school is your choice. Or maybe you live in one of the better school Districts. I don't have kids but the last thing I would try to do is homeschool them.

Congress knew since they were busy moving their money around in an insider trading scandal but they were all waiting for the invisible hand to move. Their and Bill Gates's mantra is that "capitalist markets fix everything". As a corollary they well be telling everyone the usual capitalist battle cry in a disaster "Your on your own."

@cantweallgetalong Are you sure you weren't living in Flint, MI when the lead in the water crisis was happening? That was a disaster caused by the water supply bosses saving on water costs. The bosses over at GM knew there was a water problem since there engine parts were corroding. They of course would be having a profit crisis if they had to do a recall on engines so they were granted special permission to switch back to the better water while the water company bosses were saving a bundle selling water not fit for GM's consumption to Flint residents . That could account for the crazy nonsense you've been writing since lead is a brain poison.

Usually you need a teacher's license to teach in a US public school. Plus visa problems could result since she is not a US Green Card holder.

Lexi Rae We don't have bible school in school because we aren't a Canadian society. If you want your kids in bible school you can either send them to a private school or have them meet at anytime outside of school.

@mikeunconfirmed1489 No such thing as an "American wage". Teachers are paid a weekly or biweekly salary and can earn some extra money with after school activities, summer school and private tutoring. Some states pay UI during the summertime. School district taxes are based on property taxes putting the tax burden on farmers, homeowners and renters instead of where wealth is created in construction, communications, transportation, mining and manufacturing. They often pay for buildings with bonds which is just another way for the rich to siphon off value from tax money instead of paying taxes themselves.

@towardstar This is the natural way capitalism works to shore up the declining rates of profit. The way to fight back is with a militant labor movement all the more necessary with this new crisis with over 33.5 million without jobs and counting. We need a new labor party based in the unions not one controlled by capitalist donors. The fightback begins with come together and collectively refusing to work faster or do more in less time as the bosses will want to make us pay for their crisis. Standing together and all stopping work in defense of others is the way a real union works.

@balthasar3 The only reason they are called the Greatest Generation is because they gave up a lot of what the workers had won with the CIO Industrial Union movement to be on the winning side of WW2. Because the US mainland was left untouched the industrial power of the US meant the beginning of the most powerful Empire in human history. As a boomer we are the only ones connected to the Great Depression and WW2 by word of mouth and family. To say we are selfish for wanting to avoid the misery of that time shows just how unconnected you are. During the depression they put cardboard in their shoes to get more out of them. During the war years they had a wage freeze and ration cards for food and gasoline. Have you ever seen the inside of a working B-24 they have two pilots and the instrumentation that looks a bunch of automobile gas gages and odometers. No auto pilot you flew it using your feet and hands. The radio was a tube set. Tubes burn out like old lightbulbs. The belly gunner worked upside down. The side gunners worked through a large opening in the sides of a plane. Not everyone came back and not every plane returned.

What's called a town like, Ware, Ma, in southern New England is called a city out west. Including Julesburg, CO. and Arroyo City, TX. Most of the towns in CT, RI and MA are or were based around industries like textiles. Most of the western towns are based around agriculture. Even Ohio has miles of corn fields off the Interstates. You can drive for thirty miles on US highways without seeing a gas station or hours without seeing a car coming in the other direction in the Western States.

@yusufcagowayne1990 Capitalism breaks up families because hiring a single worker is cheaper than hiring a worker with a family. Sure Trump was going to Make America Great Again. Instead we have the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression after the 1929 stock market crash. Thirty Eight million thrown out of their jobs. Who are now on the Obamacare No Health Insurance Layoff Plan. Just like in 2008 the bosses will use this crisis to drive down wages and increase labor discipline.

@darrenjones2933 No you only think your different. Even if you only go to Canada you will realise your American in Culture. The constitution was a compromise between state and federal power. To entice the smaller states they got a little more say in choosing the president. The electoral college limited ballot stuffing and electoral theft to individual states and by voting in their states prevented Washington arm twisting should they vote in Washington. Like everything else Congress wrote the constitution and gave themselves the final say and ultimate power in deciding if the votes are valid. Congress can impeach Justices, Judges and the President. As long as they're in office they are untouchable by either the Judiciary or the President. A person in Virginia (Washington DC) has power over national forests in Oregon.
