@mikebane2866 Well the majority of English speaking intellectuals are pro capitalist. For them the solution is always "free markets" because they are mostly privileged middle class westerners. The Cuban workers and farmers know what they have and what the have acomolpished has been with the help of their friends despite their enemies desires to destroy them. They aren't interested in having a Putin, Yeltsin or Gorbachev and American neoliberalism destroy everything with so called "free market capitalism" and shock therapy so an oligarchy can be created. .
