Stalin became the leader of defeats first in China and signed on to Bukharin's 1928 revision of Marxism with prediction of long term capitalist stability and an ultra left attitude towards the Social Democratic Workers in Germany preparing the ground for the rise of Hitler and German fascism. After the defeat in German the Stalinist swung to the right with the popular front with bourgeois liberals in Spain and France unleashing a world wide murder machine against the supporters of Trotsky. A successful socialist revolution in either France or Spain would have reversed the march towards world war.

@str.77 That's completely false the Bolsheviks had the majority in the Petrograd Soviet when the voted to take power and the red guards arrested the traitor Krensky who was conspiring with Kornilov who was marching on Petrograd to drown the revolution in blood and the meeting of the All Russian Soviet confirmed that. As Trotsky later stated had the Bolsheviks not taken power when they did Fascism would be a Russian instead of Italian word.

@dopaminedreams1122 Stalin died in 1953 but with the end of the war the Stalinist monolith began to break up. Yugoslavia and China had Stalinist leaders of revolutions who would not just accept Stalin's orders to capitulate to the the ruling clique in Moscow and sell out to the Capitalist world for the sake of the Soviet Union.

@andrzejnadgirl2029 A capitalist can much more easily become a worker than a worker a capitalist. The higher they rise the bigger the fall. You think we are all just a bunch of dummies' that daddy hires to run your factories. We do all the jobs that result in production from machine operators, to assemblers and repairs. All the bosses do is watch us work and collect the money.

@arthurmorgan7398 The Bolsheviks demanded that the provisional government call for an immediate elections to a constituent assemble which the members of the provision government refused until after the July days armed protests which resulted in the false accusations of the Bolshevik leaders having organized the protests. Trotsky was jailed and Lenin forced into hiding. Kerensky ordered Trotsky's release when he faced an attempted counterrevolution. It was now clear that Kerensky could not be trusted and with General Kornilov marching on St Petersburg to drown the revolution in Blood the Bolsheviks acted with the support of the St Petersburg Soviet (All power to the Soviets) to sending Red Guards to arrest Kerensky ahead of the meeting of the All Russian Soviet. Later Trotsky would write had they not acted when the did then the revolution would have surely been drowned in blood. A minority walked out and Trotsky mocked them say march into the dust bin of history. .

@Messiisthebest724 The revolution brought peace for the soldier, land for the peasant and bread for the workers. The Red Army organized to defend the new Soviet Republic defeated 14 Imperialist Armies and was at the Gates of Warsaw. Had Stalin followed his orders they might have taken Warsaw and marched all the way to Berlin.

@HontounoShiramizu Sure the UK and US weren't Imperialist invaders and the Czechoslovak Legion was just out for a Sunday stroll in the park. Lenin would vow to tear Imperialism limb for limb after the defeat of the German Revolution. Unlike Japan and the West the Soviets never had foreign investments that produced profits for a capitalist ruling class neither did the Chinese until after the CCP's creation of Capitalism with Chinese characteristics.
