Yep one law for wealthy immigrants going to Ivy League universities and another for the working class immigrants.

Phil Silverman If everyone had kept the mouth shut at most there may have been circumstantial evidence. You have a right to lawyer up and that is what all parties should have done. Otherwise he should have been prepared to challenge the law since he knew he was breaking it. They plea bargained him and he took the deal his defense is others did it and he was targeted by Obama Democrats.

Ultra Right is always the excuse that the Democrats use as to why they can't do something even when they are in power. Obama could have passed single payer health care in his first term with the Democratic majority. "This is what we get when we leave our leaders for sale. You have a corporate neo-con beholden faux left 'centrist' or in other words a 90's republican. Against a faux populist right winger (former lefty) who promises...." You realize most people don't have the slightest idea as to what or who you are talking about in that phrase. "Trump is serving his donors (and himself) in a way Hillary would not have been allowed to get away with even as should would have loved to." Why is that true?and Why would Hillary want to get away with it? You are an argument for not voting at all or a third party but the campaign finance laws are their to protect the two party franchise. You will have political corruption legal or illegal as long as you have a capitalist system. Advocating an end to free speech by groups (unions, corporations, artists, and filmmakers read Citizens United Supreme court case) as a way to clean the system up is nonsensical.

Yes we love to here how when your wealthy and break the laws it doesn't apply because they do it all the time. I guess if Trump wanted to make himself a president for life by canceling elections he could just go ahead and do it and then pardon himself for doing so.

It exposes the lie that you can clean up the two corrupt parties with campaign finance law. It also exposes the FBI as a political police force.
2
The passed campaign finance laws as way to deodorize the two parties after the Nixon presidency. The real targets are third parties and their donors. They seek to create lists of small donors and contractors so they can be harassed by employers, police and government officials.
2
The lesson to learn here is that the wealthy have no intention of obeying campaign finance laws. That both parties are just as corrupt as ever and the FBI maintains records of political ideology as a trusted political police force.

D'Sousa is just another ideological Republican. Where as Joe Arpaio and David Clarke are actual criminals who need to be punished but never will unless there is a revolution before they die.

Just another case of one law for the wealthy (I knew it was illegal but did it anyway because so does everyone else) and another for the working class. Another hit smacking the FBI for its role as a political police force. I love it go ahead and do it some more show how corrupt you and your capitalist system are.

I love this kind of thing because now I can argue that government doesn't follow its own laws when dealing with the wealthy. Ever better they expose the FBI as a political police force.

No doubt he entered a not guilty plea and then took a plea bargain. The plea bargain has replaced the right to a trial by jury with the right to have a plea bargain. As long as you have capitalism you will have this kind of political corruption. Both parties campaigns are paid for by the wealthy because that is who they serve. If you want to vote for an honest working class party then Vote Socialist Workers Party. In the meantime they way to fight poverty the best and only proven way is with a militant Union and Union movement.

I don't like campaign finance laws because they essentially say we are to stupid to make up our minds about who to vote for. I wouldn't vote for D'Sousa if he promised me a month of ice cream sundaes. I think if he and Koch brothers bought a 24/7 week of political ad's before the election it wouldn't sway me in the least. In fact it would clue me in as to who not to vote for. Second the so called justice system is fraudulent to begin with. It'd just a big scam to make money for lazy judges lawyers and a whole host of other people involved in useless activity, while punishing the working class for being themselves.

"These laws are necessary in any system where you do not want a plutocracy like we have now." You do realize you're conducting yourself. Plus Trump was elected despite Clinton having four times the campaign funds.
