  1. We haven't heard the whole thing yet but wages are down because of bosses successfully breaking up our unions and keeping the minimum wage low. A larger labor pool will lower wages but wages are always set from the bottom up not the top down. If the bosses want to raise wages they can go ahead and do that but they will always choose profits over wages except after successful strike action. The immigrant who is under a constant threat of deportation and turned into a pariah is a real threat to wages even creating a sub minimum wage not immigrants who are legal. So by granting amnesty to all immigrant workers our wages will rise. Sending out cops to terrorise immigrant communities will drive wages down because it only creates and maintains a pariah class of workers. Just like retail and fast food was only for children and therefore only worth minimum wages new occupations will become secret but well known sub minimum wage jobs. Sheetrocking, roofing and other construction jobs that have become minimum wage or close to minimum wage meccas will now become sub minimum wage meccas along with the already sub minimum wage carwashes. They want to bring in middle class immigrants because they can then save on University costs while convincing the current middle class that this is good for America and therefore good for you. For the current middle class more of their children will be sent down into the ranks of the working class something every middle class family views with horror.
