His jail guards allowed a mentally ill prisoner awaiting trial to die of dehydration after shutting the water off in his cell. His prisoners only get one glass of liquid nourishment on Sundays. His response has been to rail about the crime the prisoner was arrested for. The family is suing and video clearly shows which guards shut off the water and his whole operation is run under layers of secrecy. So far he as announced no new safeguards or procedures to prevent this from happening again.
