  3. No they decide how much quality is needed to seek expected maximization of profit. No one wants to buy a car where the wheels fall off next week. So how long is the expected life of wheels on a car or more importantly will a car make it past the warranty period without needing a repair?

  4. They hire based upon profit alone. For every 'small' business there is big business making money though all kinds of ways. Insurance, loans, and silent partners. All these people skim off the so-called small business. This boss cuts hours because he can. Most likely his business consist of selling his ability to talk a lot of BS like he is doing here. Probably what they call a motivational speaker for all those small business that are just fed up.

  6. They keep wages down by firing people. They call it management rights. If you refuse to leave the property they call out the forces of law and order who take you to jail for trespassing. Simple isn't it. Unless you belong to a union. With a Union the bosses have to deal with all the workers or none of the workers.

  10. Obviously it must be a number that the workers consider winnable. Of course no one will object if you want to up your minimum wage employees to $50.00. My guess though is you just want to be a smart guy.
