  2. I call it a defeat when the US Military had to leave Vietnam without a Puppet government firmly in place in the South. You can call it what you want. Like strategic victory or the more Nixonesque 'Peace with Honor' or 'Winning the Peace'. The Generals told Nixon they would need more Troops for Vietnam and more Troops at home to put down 'civil disorder'..
