  2. I read that many are overstaying visas and paying off Mexican officials with bribes for work permits. The old scam of torching your car for the insurance became a new one in South Texas were you cross the border and allow you vehicle to be stolen. Never underestimate the power of the bribe.

  3. Enlighten us about how harsh they are. From what I read current Mexican immigration law consists mostly of paying fines for violation of civil law. Bringing in firearms and ammo will get you 10 years in jail.

  6. Canada like the US is more than happy to admit people with money and let them buy property. Anyone with enough money who wants to come to the US and set up a business employing Americans can get a Green Card. In fact most countries will admit anyone with money who can pay for their stay.
