@JohnAlbertRigali How many Texans like having lots of guns? How many are made in the Connecticut river valley? Western Massachusetts and Connecticut?

"One of the main planks of Marxism, is the destruction of the Middle Classes!" that is a bald faced total lie. The pushing of the middle class down into the working class is the natural result of capitalist economic development. The middle class small businessman is replaced by larger businesses. The small business has a smaller ratio of capital to labor. The larger has a larger ratio of capital to labor. This larger productivity of labor makes it possible to sell at a lower price while still retaining a profit driving the small business out of business. The once proud professional man becomes a another laborer as a specialized engineer working for a huge manufacturing or engineering companies, a specialty medical doctor working as an insurance company contractor in a multi doctor practice. Combing, dividing and rationalizing production to increase profits is just the natural way that capitalism works.

@robgvm Trump is now sanctioning them so I'm sure the middle class in Venezuela is happy with getting that kind of help. If the US can't just invade or organize a successful coup then they look to starving those countries that aren't making the US and local profit makers happy. Middle class people in the US heard about a toilet paper crisis in Venezuela are completely shocked. Same goes here they ran out and brought up as much as possible toilet paper when they heard of the coronavirus. Realizing that people lived without toilet paper is just shocking. You do realize a washcloth and water can do what you need to do without toilet paper.

Soar Alba The unions are the best anti poverty program ever conceived. However the bosses will immediately seek to take what's won on the picket line with new machinery and speed up. If that doesn't succeed they will move elsewhere or demand lower wages because some other company or industry is paying less for the same work elsewhere. The decision to deindustrialize cities like Detroit, Toledo, Gary, Pittsburg, and Baltimore was made at the highest levels of American capitalism in the boardrooms of GM, Ford and the big Wall Street Investment banks. The ultimate goal was the same Bigger Profits through lower wages and new labor saving machinery. As usual it was necessary to turn the victim into the criminal. Union workers were greedy and the bosses were living in poverty under toll bridges. If that wasn't enough then it was the hard working German engineers and Japanese slave labor that was pushing open the bankruptcy courts doors.

NPC #45095367 The US electronic and computer manufacturing bosses walked out of the US and into Mexico and China for bigger profits with lower wages. The same companies that claim they are loyal to you and looking out for you are looking down the hallway for bigger profits with lower wages elsewhere. You can't trust them anymore than you can trust Obama and Trump to save your job. Doesn't matter who's in office if real wages start rising then the gates for immigration legal or illegal will open. If the social cost begin to rise than the gates will start to close with a greater number of deportation to follow. Even if both were in complete equilibrium they' be deporting workers just to scare others of their kind of police court injustice system. The capitalist are motivated by profits only they could care less about who came from which country, which state, which county, which town, or which neighborhood. All they care about is who will work for the lowest wage and at the fastest pace. Once you understand that you will understand that any kind of unity with the bosses is completely impossible and only unity among workers can change things. What they fear most is any kind of work stoppage and any kind of multiple numbers of workers making requests of management.

@firehawk20 The bosses regardless of nationality want to pay the lowest wages for the most working time. Mexican bosses want the same thing as US bosses PROFITS!!!
