@blueponypicsFlickaSocks It good for Wall St and the billionaires who have never done better. They also own Washington. So don't expect any help from either party.

@max420thc Forget about Venezuela a poor country that they are still trying to strangle with sanctions. They spend trillions on military waste projects. They print US Treasury bonds that they then sell to the rich who then get paid with tax money. The debt has a creditors who want more than they put in. That's what investing is all about getting something for nothing with no work required. For capitalism to keep going the workers must go into impossible to pay back debts. As machines replace labor raising capital value than since the profit comes from our labor profit rates must decline. Nixon is the one who ended the gold standard enabling unlimited inflation. Any fool can understand you can't just print money and then expect to get back more than you started with. That's why they have no choice but to keep the presses running. It's never a question of halting the presses but how fast to run them. That's why both parties keep them going. When you police the world for rich American investors who demand a return for good or bad investments you can't help but create an unsustainable situation.

When the hell did "Joe" work? You shut the country down and what do you think working people are suppose to do? No one wants to work for less but the bosses are the ones who raise prices.

This is when bosses can raise prices to capture more value from our labor. Instead of taxing the rich the borrow from them and then pay them back with interest. It's a racket where they never talk about who the creditors of the national debt are.

@myview5840 Best thing for workers to do is join unions and fight back with strikes for higher wages. That's the only thing the bosses and their government understands.

@KopperNeoman I got the biggest raise of my lifetime after the 1976 Westinghouse Strike. Only the bosses wanted to work and they of course couldn't get anything done without us. When we went back to work it was with our heads held high.
