This is such a pack of lies one doesn't know where to begin. Stalin murdered almost all of Lenin's closest comrades in the 1936 Moscow Trials. All were accused of Trotskyism.

@Lwilight Trotsky wrote the Permanent Revolution in 1905 which totally rejects the need for a capitalist stage in line with Lenin's April 1917 Thesis. It was Stalin who would return to the discredited two stage menshevik theory that would lead to defeats in the 1930's Popular Fronts Against Fascism. It was exactly theses fronts of discredited leaders of Social Democracy, Stalinists and Liberals who would refuse to halt the fascist threat with the mass mobilization of the workers and farmers to take state power like the bolsheviks did in Oct 1917.

@@mister_midnight189 Trotsky remained true to the Communist course of Lenin and it was Stalin who would ultimately betray the revolution. It wouldn't be until Fidel Castro and Che Guevara made the revolution in Cuba that would prove Stalin and those who followed him wrong both in theory and in the practice of communism. Trotsky was read by Castro while in prison and he writings were never outlawed in Cuba like in the other Stalinist States.
