@liubei3058 The idea of left and right came from the French Revolution when to make vote counting easier the Monarchist sat on the Right while the Republicans sat on the left. They were called Right Social Democrats because they favored their own Bourgeois class in the first Imperialist world war to redivide the worlds spoils among the Imperialist nations. Lenin like Eugene Debs opposed his own ruling classes war for profits. Democrat Wilson had Socialist Debs sent to prison for violation of the Espionage Act.
