@TedSmith-yy8yc Its doing exactly what Karl Marx predicted centralising everything into the hands of a tiny ruling class of owners protected by the state. The fact that it has all theses problems goes back to the basics that labor produces wealth not capital or trade or taking risks, ect. That wealth is produced socially and capital is accumulated privately. With capitalism you can't help but overproduce for markets investing into expanding production until workers can't buy back all that can be produced at a profit. Than you then take your profits drive up the value of fictitious capital until it collapses creating a self defeating economic crisis. You see the profits stop flowing so you halt production and then the workers can pay for what they produce and a downward spiral takes place until you can bail yourselves out with either credit, destruction of commodities or war to start the process all over again.
