@Thomasfboyle Doing things like launching a literacy campaign to teach the peasants to read so they can't be fooled. When the Batista Regime was defeated the first thing the US Gov't wanted to know was how will you pay your debts. At no time were they offered a dime in economic aid unlike all the arms sales and aid they had earlier provided Batista. The US was unhappy from the very beginning of the revolution since they weren't going to reuse the old military and police forces of the dictatorship Instead the made good on the promise that they would punish them for the crimes they had committed like outright murder torture and terrorism. Even so the majority of these old forces had surrendered not wanting to fight anymore and they were told to go home while they found new productive jobs for them.

Lake of money to be made building new machines and more to be made in repairing those already produced Why declining rate of return on industrial investment Then you have the old boy network. Nothing really new here same is going on throughout the capitalist market.

@DakessianHMadat It shows that the economic theory of a free market self regulating is wrong. If it was self regulating this guy wouldn't need to go to the FTA. This is why Marx says economic classes develop. They become inbred and oppose change that would disrupt incumbent business. Which comes back to the fact that unless a new method can obtain fiance that the inbred will oppose it. Few will fund the disrupter because the incumbent could quickly adopt the new method with only a small amount of software development cost. The Koche fortune was based in intelectual property. The big oil companies stole it from Fred Koche believing he could never finance his legal claims. After all he was an engineer not a fellow capitalist. Fred went to the Soviet Union for work and teaching in the oil industry he left with the money to finance his legal challenge and won his case. By hiring someone with no knowledge of the disrupter and merely instructing them to make operation transparent you avoid any charges of infringement on intelectual property. Isn't bourgeois intelectual property law granting monopolies terrific at advancing science and the arts? Once you have a monopoly why let others in? The first argument the incumbent will make is that the software both source and machine code is intelectual property and any change made without permission is a violation of the terms of the software licensing agreement. You buy a license to use without any guaranteed purpose or use and your licensing agreement assures that you changing it is not permitted. Buy Microsoft Visual Studio and you will discover using it to create a word processor is not permitted. Guess why?
