  4. The general theory of marxist in the US is that the constitution and bill of rights provides a legal opening from which to wage the class struggle. In Czarist Russia Lenin spent hours looking for legal loopholes in Czarist law so that the workers could legally go on strike. The only real conflicts in the US constitution involve property rights, taxes and eminent domain. It's much more likely for the capitalists to try and overturn an election result and use fascist gangs to attack workers meetings, picket lines and socialists elected to Congress.   7. I don't see how a market can be democratic. The power controlled by one side of the market vs the other is seldom equal. "Democratic Socialist" countries because they remain with private property in the means of production will not be immune to the crisis engendered by the contradictions within the world capitalist crisis. Employers see taxes as money that could be in their pockets this leads to the questioning of social costs like education and healthcare as to how much is too much. They don't need workers who can think. They need workers who will follow orders. In fact workers who do have education are seen as a threat leading the loyalist reporting you as knowing more than you should. Healthcare for workers is a cost seen as unnecessary because new workers can always be hired to replace those who become sick, disabled or die.
