  3. No this is the result of capitalist greed. The massive ship was NOT being escorted by TUGS and so when it lost power it just drifted into the bridge. They were able to get out a warning that allowed for the bride to be closed to traffic. Those ships go close to 48 ft deep the harbor is only safe at 50 ft. They been using bigger ships since the widening of the Panama canal. Two dead, four missing and two alive construction workers on the bridge. Forget the Ukraine angle. It's stupid. A pilot operates the ship in the harbor not the ships master. When the bridge was first in service it was accessed by a super two hwy not a 2x2 Interstate.
