  3. Prices are way higher in Alaska than in the lower 48. The Alaska money comes from oil revenue. The real goal is to end all benefits but Social Security which will be cut by $1,000. This is his own words on the Ben Shapiro show. The benefit is not meant to live on so get ready to buy some apples or open up a lemonade stand.

People on welfare programs consist of the elderly and disabled under the state/federal SSI payment limit, those on TANF, Food Stamps, housing assistance, general assistance and UI. What this new program will do is buy McD's for the new homeless expected to be created by Yang silicon valley barons of tech supporters. Yang on the Ben Shapiro show makes it clear that this is a program to manage us, which we can't be expected to survive on and cut social program costs in the interests of big business capitalists owners like Shapiro which is why Shapiro likes it so much. Rewrite the 1938 Fair Labor Standards act for a 30 hour week with no cut in pay and boost the overtime premium to triple time or face a socialist revolution like that lead by Fidel Castro in Cuba.

  5. There reasons the elderly and disabled don't just go to work. Medical conditions, healthcare costs and lack of part time and full time jobs that don't create more healthcare costs. No one is going to hire a 55 year old at what you could make when you were 25 and if they do you are going to be set up to be dismissed within a year because companies want to save healthcare costs.

  6. It does come with strings attached. He says he wants a constitutional amendment preventing you from using as a asset for a debt. The capitalist want us in debt to keep us working but they do want us to default or go bankrupt. Bankruptcy is only OK for big companies who want to take our jobs, cut our wages and break our unions.

  9.  @Astronautadelvoid  In an interview with Yang on the Ben Shapiro Show Yang explains how he is going to end all other benefits and how this will reduce federal spending. Included in his explanation is how this isn't going to be a benefit you can live on. So if what Yang predicts happens, a 25% unemployment rate, I guess we will all just be living on sidewalks in cardboard boxes or working for subminimum wages because we are suppose to be working because we like our jobs not because we need to alienate our labor to live. No mention about how this will affect the lives of the one percent like Shapiro. I guess it will be business as usual for them going on Mars Space Trips and riding around in Tesla self driving cars.

When you get laid off or can't work you get $1000 a month period, no food stamps, no public housing for the elderly, disabled, or single mothers, no heating assistance, no SSI, buy your own healthcare, oh and make sure to save because a constitutional amendment will prevent you from using the $1,000 as a loan guarantee. Maybe Yang can include a cardboard box in the deal so you can homestead an LA sidewalk.

  11. This is his idea as a way to reduce the federal budget to save the rich tax money. Next time you get laid off you'll be getting this freedom benefit rather than UI. It should buy you some McD's hamburgers while you live on an LA sidewalk. It's just another Democratic Party cutback like Clinton's TANF.

  13.  @jonathanflores3256  I'll look again but last time I looked I saw only a laundry list of problems. His solution looked like a big relabeling project for a new political correctness. He said on the Ben Shapiro Show he would end all welfare programs, cut Social Security by $1,OOO and the Freedom Benefit is not something to live on. That his plan will save tax dollars. With a 25% unemployment rate expect to be working for less than the minimum wage. Bosses will fire you not having a company Tattoo. If capitalism does this only a Socialist Revolution like the Cuban revolution can solve these capitalist austerity wars on the working class.

  14.  @jonathanflores3256  Right and mysteriously wages will not drop with 25% unemployment. The whole goal of the capitalists is to pay you the lowest wage it is possible for you to live on. The only way to fight mass unemployment without a socialist revolution is with a sliding scale of wages and hours. In other words cut the workweek with no cut in pay while raising the overtime premium to maybe triple time. This was originally done in 1938 with the Fair Labor Standards act. By creating a full employment economy that reduces the natural competition for jobs in the way capitalism works. If private capitalism cannot create such an economy than the capitalist government should step in and create needed public works projects. If they still can't do it then our unions should move against the capitalists, their government and take political power away from such an incompetent bunch of fools. Putting a huge number of us on welfare will only further the divisions between the employed and unemployed driving all wages down to what will be the new minimum wage.

A Boss in any job with a 25% unemployment rate is just going to allow you to set your work schedule? A thousand dollars a month won't cut it as a safety net. Yang makes that clear in the Ben Shapiro interview. This is just a cynical way to reduce future government expenditures once again made clear in the Ben Shapiro interview. The idea is to manage us while not interfering with Human Capitalism (capitalist greed and peragatives).

To fool you into believing dividends are good for you of course despite his claim it's meant to fool the rich into believing it's not a welfare benefit. His "Human Capitalism" like the "Crony Capitalism" It just his version of the rotting system of Capitalism that he wishes to save to satisfy his own greed. Make him president so he can sell influence like Bill Clinton after leaving office.

  29.  @estebanbareiro1270  Automation (New Machinery) is part of the way capitalism works. Those branches of industry and companies which can cut labor costs with new machinery see additional profits headed their way because the cost of production drops first while it takes time for that to show up in a lower sales price. Replacing Truck drivers with self driving trucks is still a long ways away. The bosses can't run a train with a single driver without unnecessary accidents what makes you think they can do so with a no truck driver? Let's say tomorrow morning they could launch a self driving tuck. They can't replace or modify all the trucks like making a windows overnight software change. Which they can't even do now because of possible new bugs to the biggest customers.

His so called "Human Capitalism" consists of nothing other than changing the way the BLS collects and analyzes statistics. The BLS doesn't run corporate America so why should that make any difference? He calls his proposal a freedom dividend for the propaganda value. The capitalist push everything they can't make a profit on to either the government or private charity as it is now. So how could being an "owner" in the US government make you a profit to be paid like a dividend? He says he's returning government to the American people well since the end of reconstruction after the civil has the government been anything but a tool of the rich capitalists? So what is he returning us too?

His new TANF which was suppose to move you from welfare to work and end "welfare as we know" killed one of the Black Women at its signing a few years later when she couldn't pay for her medicine which would have been previously covered by medicare.
