@Dane-o7q Most don't enter illegally but on a tourist visa and then overstay. Mexicans can cross the border legally and have their child born here. The child automatically becomes a citizen.

@thomasphj8766 United States v. Wong Kim Ark (1898) His parents were Chinese and he was born in the US his parents went back to China and he left to visit them and later returned. The Gov't to prevent him from returning and he sued. Trump wants to issue an executive order overriding it.

@thomasphj8766 You can be born in Canada of US parents and serve in the Army but still be considered a non citizen and have your drivers license revoked by Tennessee.

@thomasphj8766 he should be a citizen because his parents were but he's 77 years old. Plus Mexicans' have served in the military without proper papers only to be deported later. I guess taking an oath to defend the US Constitution and then taking up arms as cannon fodder isn't enough for the American ruling class.
