@Mr22thou The problem with Reich's arguments are rooted in the assumptions of a capitalist system and capitalist class being self reformable that can escape crisis caused by the long term tendency of profit rates to decline and the breakup into warring national trade war blocs that set the stage for real war and even World War.. The liberal Reich just like the Conservative Sowell are all advocates of the so called marginal theory of value. This leads them to same conclusion of the bosses being controlled in their greed though moral arguments and monetary policies. Sowell argues for bosses big and small to be responsible and use government only for defense of property. While Reich argues for bosses using more control though their government to save themselves and their crisis ridden system. .
