It is Marx who put economy and human history on a materialist scientific basis. It is his analysis that reveals the origins of the reversals. The direction that capitalist development takes and why it will come to an end. Had Britain NOT experienced a banking crisis would it have gone to war with Germany and how wise was it to impose the Treaty of Versailles upon Germany?
