Splendid Mendax Cops do what the ruling class tells then to do period.

@nealdavis7807 That's interesting but lawyers interpret law with this exception "IT IS WHOLLY OWING TO THE CONSTITUTION OF THE PEOPLE, AND NOT TO THE CONSTITUTION OF THE GOVERNMENT that the crown is not as oppressive in England as in Turkey." Thomas Paine The other four states did sign on to the 1789 Constitution. Rhode Island under threat of being treated as a foreign country. The articles formed a "union" the 1789 Constitution formed "a more perfect union".

It's easy enough to get an online copy and read through it noting both what it says and what it doesn't. I have concluded that it does not set up three co equal branches but all real and naked power resides in Congress. To those who think it is difficult to pass constitutional amendments remember it takes at most only 50% plus one to elect those who can pass new amendments.

Political Grandstanding the ATF has offices in Jefferson City are they closed?

@truckerenoch8824 Any rights given by "GOD" can be easily taken away by "GOD". Supreme Court Justice Antony Scalia openly stated he would prefer the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms over the US Bill of rights. Go read the Charter. It has references to God whereas the US constitution has none. It has "reasonable limits". where as the US Bill of rights has none. The writer of "Common Sense" blasting the English monarchy and Parliamentary collision did the same to organized Religion in the "Age of Reason". His name? Thomas Paine.
1
@truckerenoch8824 Show me where in the US constitution that God is even mentioned. It is clear from reading the "no religious test" clause and the first amendment that god and religion were to be held at arm's length form government. Jefferson and Paine may have believed in God but they also knew of the dangers "Religious Frire brands" presented.
1
harrylongbaugh1 If your rights came from god you'd still be in church waiting for them. Screw intelligent people. They're already a big problem as CEO's and two party politicians. The writer of "Common Sense" Thomas Paine also wrote "The Age of Reason". Here he blasted organized religion especially Christianity taking apart the Christian beliefs piece by piece. You don't have the unalienable rights of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness other wise you could not be put in jail or murdered with impunity by use of death penalty nor could aliens be deported. This was a rhetorical argument from John Locke meant to embarrass the English Parliament and those familiar with English law. "Wherefore, laying aside all national pride and prejudice in favour of modes and forms, the plain truth is, that IT IS WHOLLY OWING TO THE CONSTITUTION OF THE PEOPLE, AND NOT TO THE CONSTITUTION OF THE GOVERNMENT, that the crown is not as oppressive in England as in Turkey." Thomas Paine in Common Sense This is where your rights come from not God. https://www.marxists.org/reference/archive/paine/index.htm
1
harrylongbaugh1 I see that by either ignorance, design or propaganda you have gone for the charge of Brainwashing. You seek to close down political space to discuss ideas just like the Stalinist only you prefer to close off discussion in favor of the two capitalist parties.
1
harrylongbaugh1 God is not mentioned in the Constitution however religion is. It clearly states that "...no religious test shall ever be required as a qualification to any office or public trust under the United States..." England had been using religious tests which is why this clause was inserted into the original 1789 constitution. The Bill of Rights was written and passed later 1791 setting up "the wall" between Church and State. "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof.."

@Enoughsenoughnomas Robert F. Williams got a NRA charter which he effectively used to defended his community from KKK violence. The bosses and the police will always have the right to own arms. Any law written to take those rights away will be directed at the working class.
1
@Enoughsenoughnomas What is mind boggling isn't the oppression that Black African's faced in the US it is the refusal to accept that oppression and fight back despite the odds against them. If there had been no slave revolts no runaway slaves there would have been no civil war and the North would have never needed to make 190,000 black men into soldiers with rifles and say, "Go kill your masters with gunpowder and lead."
1
@Enoughsenoughnomas This guy starts off wrong to begin with. The oldest living constitution is that of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts not the United States. Plus organized religion was under siege with Thomas Jefferson warning about firebrands and Thomas Paine taking Christianity apart piece by piece in the Age of Reason. You don't think any of these liberals talk much about that nevermind these conservatives. It's no accident that God was left out of the constitution and religion was pushed away at arm's length.

@johnlyn1 The US Constitution was set up by the ruling class of protect owners to protect property. Governments are set up to protect the type of property of a particular epic of human history. They change depending on the needs of the ruling class.
1
@rentiap The laws of America came form England and in England at the time only property owners could vote and the same was true before and after the revolution. Evet ry colony and later state required property ownership to vote and the original US constitution defers to the states for determining who can be electors. Universal suffrage if you can call it that only cam about in a piece meal fashion though changes in state laws and constitutional amendments some times expanding and other times restricting the right to vote. Ourselves meaning property owners and our posterity meaning heirs. Set up by property owners to protect the rights of property owners and their inheritance. Set up to allow states to coin money which the King forbade. Money needs to circulate to have commerce. The King wanted all money kept in England forbidding its import and coinage in the colonies. Like Margret Thatcher he feared running out of money.
1
@truckerenoch8824 God isn't mentioned in the constition but relgion is and it says. "..no religious Test shall ever be required as a Qualification to any Office or public Trust under the United States.” So if you can't test an officer of the United States on religion what makes you can test anyone else? Do all religions even require a God? Rights coming from God is a religious theory.

@rentiap The southern slaveholders wanted to divide the country they were getting in the way of the countries development by insisting upon maintaining the slave system in conflict with the wage labor system. Refusing to leave the stage of history they were defeated in a bloody civil war which destroyed their property in slaves without compensation. The new Reconstruction governments in the South were popular among the toilers of all colors however the old landowners alling with the carpetbaggers organized a counter revolution using KKK and Red Shirt violence. The National Republican Party abandoned the newly freedmen to private profits and cheaper government. A capitalist system of two tiered labor value benefiting capitalists only to be destroyed by a Black rights movement lead by Black working people.
1
@rentiap The United States is a fiction though its isn't a person nor is it a corporation with owners either. It is a government of property owners. Just as Athens or Rome was a government of slave owners. So your theory falls flat because the government is the supreme power of the United States, people in and citizens of the United States and any United States corporations including ones owned by the United States itself are inferior to it. The government exists in your mind like everyone else's mind because of its property and the people who make it up. It is really that simple.
1
@rentiap I have done a quick read of your petition. I think the basic problem is the belief that you can argue you why out of a situation by presenting a legal argument with words. The reason it can be done that way is because ideas and words are developed to explain facts and needs of human beings first. A longer view of human history along with the realization of all the changes we have gone though may change you thinking on all kinds of things just as it has done on all the rest of us. Human beings started in a small groups much like other animals. First as groups of hunter gathers. We all must eat, have clothing and shelter before our groups can survive. We use tools and labor to make life possible. Once we do that then we can create culture. Art, Science, language, math and even religion. We have also been creating a surplus and with the surplus we've created the forces of production of future labor saving tools. What has been going on for 100's of generations has been accelerating in the last few centuries to the era of a world culture and a world system of production and trade. The forces of production are such that the ideas of only a couple of centuries ago are already being shown wrong by the facts that are known today such that people have yet to catch up in the thinking passed down over past centuries. Some of which is still true some of which is wrong and some of which needs alteration. Only a few hundred years ago it was common sense that the earth was flat and the Sun rotated around it and we were the center of the universe. Its still common sense today and still would be true if we could only travel a short distances in a relative long time, used sundials and counted time in days not micro seconds and billions of years and could not look out into the sky with a telescope made of glass lens.
1
@rentiap People like Washington Jefferson and Adams were considered wealthy men of the time. Yet it would take them days if not weeks to go from Massachusetts to Georgia. While you or I can drive or fly that whole distance in an hours and we are just ordinary Americans. They had personal libraries that cost a small fortune we have the internet that allows us to search and read from a library thousands of times larger.
1
@rentiap After a long argument which is difficult to understand and which includes valid grievances you say you that you aren't a person but a man. Now if you go to court and make this argument a Judge will merely say for purpose of these court proceedings I will define you the man as a person. You will be shut down because they will not accept you arguments as valid reasoning. You won't be able to argue you way out of a traffic ticket based upon past bad or improper actions of George Washington, King George, Congress, the State of California and wrong interpretation of the Northwest Ordnance, Articles of Confederation and words United States that lead to you being defined as a person and not a man when driving a car. The judge will just dismiss those arguments are irrelevant to the meaning of the word person for the purposes of this court.
1
@rentiap Explain what you mean then because I read it and that's my interpretation of it. I don't need to call the SPLC or get piad to gain an understanding of what your saying. You do realize that words and ideas change overtime and nothing is set in stone. If what you saying is true you should be able to use different words and examples to convey the same meaning. In Italian they say open and close the light. While in English we say turn the light on and off. The judge would say your a natural person because I don't think you are a computer program with artificial intelligence writing back and forth to me. Of course if you were computer program than you might have an owner than I would be guessing who or what entity owned you. Squid 12? I'm not an MD so can tell much about it except its used for blocking blood vessels in the brain. Barbosa is a Spanish word for beard. Good of us all? Not sure what that's suppose to mean since it is sentence lacking a subject.
1
@rentiap Lay off on the insults Ram. I go by the evidence not notions like you. If your not a natural person than give me some evidence to prove otherwise. Anyone can play word games. You say . "I am simply a Living, breathing, flesh, bone and blood sentient man created in the image of my creators." So you look like you mom and dad anymore kindergarten lessons you want to provide?
1
@rentiap I care not to read mubo jumbo definitions so please translate for us less educated in the fine table manners of your legal experts.
1
@rentiap The RAMs horns are hard. The use of words denoting a process don't necessarily produce what the process is called. The naturalization produces citizens from non citizens a subset of persons. Where as natural persons are those who are not fictitious. The legal reason for developing the concept of the ficticios person was to give joint stock companies rights to own property like natural persons. The joint stock company owners have limited liability as natural persons who own the fictitious one. The ficticios person is the slave of the owners. Now you may go to court and argue for the freedom of the fictitious person and see how far that gets you.
1
@rentiap Great now go explain all that to SPLC and the Judge next time you drive a car as a Sovereign citizen. II'm sick of listening to a US Constitutional and Bourgeois legal scholars like you and yes i can use google translate so to help you my native language is ancient pig Latin.
1
@rentiap Not speaking you lanuage then? Bow Wow Bow Wow Wuff Wuff Bow Wow Wuff Wuff. Bow Wow
1
@rentiap Your interested in teaching lessons in semantics like the brilliant minds of Bourgeois lawyers! What do you care about suffering your not suffering are you? You had something to eat and are under a roof tonite aren't you? Your not sleeping under the bridge in Del Rio,TX are you?
1
@rentiap No I am saying your frame of reference determines what you see. The earth appears to be in motion from a train and the train in motion from the earth. The ruling class see itself as good because its in power and getting rich and it loves to here everything that confirms that its system is working. Bad news from the colonies causes chaos in Rome. A debate unfolds do we shot the general or the messenger obviously theirs no defect in the Roman system itself?.
1
@jmstouter6572 God or gods and his or their wisdom serves a the catch all explanation for everything human beings don't understand. You aren't advancing any new ideas whatsoever just a rehash of the old going back centuries. An individual avoiding an outcome does not necessarily mean a group of individuals can. Your ability to do what you please in life is limited by the material conditions of life.
1
First the longest living constitution is not the Federal Constitution but the Constitution of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
1
As an Englishman after about 400 years you are still trying to find just the right mix of the commons, the peerage and the Monarchy. "The King need not speak when an act of Parliament will do." Thomas Paine. Westminster rabble is of course the house of commons. They still take an oath to the Queen. So much for English democracy. The Royals put Stain and Mao to shame as far as cults of personality go.
1
Kyle Castloo The reason bourgeois liberals and "socialist in name only" friends want better gun control is they fear the coming battles with the working class. The union miners Battle of Blair mountain, the Minneapolis workers defense guards and Robert F. Williams who had an NRA charter effective defended his community from KKK violence.
1
Kyle Castloo The ruling class could care less who you vote for as long it's one of their two party stooges. Nor are immigrants taking jobs because all the jobs belong to either the capitalist bosses or the capitalists bosses government. The want immigrants in the most defenseless position possible to better exploit natural born and immigrant workers.
1
Kyle Castloo To counter this problem we say amnesty for all Immigrant workers and rebuild the unions into militant fighting force. The bosses use the unemployed waiting at the gate to drive down wages. This is why the unions should demand jobs for all at union wages. The economic pie is not fixed except by capitalists who shut down production when the workers can not buy back what we produce. Profits sink when sales price sinks to the cost of production without wage cuts or increased productivity to shore up that natural process the capitalist ends up in bankruptcy court. Here the major creditors eat him like hungry cannibals.

@philm9593 The capitalist have no need for democratic rights as can be seen by their actions. The US Gov't, their government, can't make enough excuses for the dictatorships they support. NATO didn't defeat the Eastern European and Soviet bureaucratic dictatorships. The workers in those countries did. The whole red scare of the from 1945 to 1975 was lead by the two capitalist parties. If McCarthy was still in charge you'd be hauled in just for debating me. If you knew me than you must know other reds and if you didn't than you would be labeled as a red sympathizer and fired from you job.
1
@philm9593 Its only the working people who have a consistent interest in freedom of speech, religion, assembly and press, due process, right to counsel, right to a jury trial and the rest of the rights in the US Constitution. Without those rights written in the blood of a revolution and civil war we would have a much more difficult time with raising any political issue that the powers in Washington didn't like. The most elementary unit of the class struggle is the Trade Union. Being able to legally hold meetings and wage legal strikes is much more advantageous than having to wage illegal ones. The middle class is inconsistent since they may side with the workers on one issue and with the capitalists on another. They have no separate ideology from either capitalism or communism. They may view a strike as an unnecessary inconvenience and legal advice indispensable even if the don't like paying the lawyers bill.
1
@philm9593 "Tyrannical governments live in fear of all men and women of good character," Actually they don't which is why they get away with being Tyrannical.

@dalton7145 The Catholic Church is losing its authority so why not blame Karl Marx, Saul Alinsky, Adolf Hitler and Joe Stalin for a Church in decline because it lacks relevance in modern life and culture.
