The problem isn't Trump but capitalism. Science became the handmaiden of capitalism. Now you wonder why no one trusts you. Capitalism works against education because it always replaces higher paid skilled labor.with machines and unskilled labor first.

Your allowed to tell the big lie because that's how advertising works. The only way out is more free speech to raise the educational level of the working people and make a socialist revolution like Fidel Castro did in Cuba. We don't need officially approved speech like in the old Soviet Union. Bad ideas will die a natural death when people can see reality and understand the explanations. Thomas Jefferson was probably one of the first certainly the first American to realize this. That's why we have a first amendment. People will abandon the Democratic Party as soon as a big enough alternative party based in labor arises.
