  1. Most of what is going on in the world today can be explained by understanding what communism is and what it is not and the simplistic ideas of Petersen. Like those of man being in struggle between good and evil which explains nothing along with his reliance upon religious texts like the bible to do his thinking for him. Petersen is quite frankly is Stalin-a-phobe. Some one he attributes everything bad in the 20th Century as an out growth of misguided intellectuals like himself. Like most Anglo Saxon Parliamentarian types one needs only make feudalism a bit more democratic. The cutting off of King Charles head was just a bit to radical. Yet anyone looking at the second world war can easily find out that the Democratic Imperialist FDR and Churchill were allied with Stalin and wanted Stalin to fight their capitalist competition and Imperialist enemy NAZI Germany. There was no military victory over communism by the Imperialist powers rather the Stalinist's surrendered economically and politically with Stalin's heirs Gorbachev and Yeltsin leading the way back to capitalism just as Leon Trotsky had said Stalin's bureaucracy would.
