@valverdeguido President Trump in not the President of the World. Nor are the US Marines the policeman of the world. You do not dial 1 800 MIKE PENCE to be appointed President.
8
@parker469a In my short life time of 66 years I would give exactly zero Presidents the benefit of any doubt what so ever. They're nothing more than the chief representatives of a small group of ruling profit hungry capitalists who seek world domination through military force.
7
@sonofyah-qx8fm The only way forward is for the leaders in Carcass to move forward with nationalization of all Yankee and collaborators property now! Down to the nails in their boots! This is the route Fidel Castro took and the only way to socialism.
4
@michaelmullins3396 Its not going to happen overnight. The US government is much weaker than in 1959 but to think that they can be defeated to save a Social Democratic government in Venezuela is just Utopian. Only a revolution like in 1959 Cuba can win.
3
@guilhermeperazzini Why don't all you Venezuelan capitalists just move to the US? You know how much Trump wants you here so you can vote for him.
3
@asmashareef9680 Venezuela can win but only if the follow the Cuban road of uniting the workers and farmers to take power and overthrow capitalist relations. Anything else is pure utopianism. You can not have a country that is 1/2 capitalist and 1/2 socialists.
3
@gloriamartinez4371 You seem to ignore that any country not doing what is wanted by "The Leader of the Free World" is subjected to international sanctions. How long do you think New Jersey or Texas would last if it was placed on a no trade list?
3
@tanjudereli3357 I didn't make the US the policeman of the world your Democratic Party colleague President Truman did that. See after WW2 aggressive war was outlawed so the US war department became the Defense Department and the Korean was not really a war according to Truman but a "Police Action". That how the US government became derided as the worlds policeman. US Propaganda used against itself. Truman violated the US Constitution by never declaring war which only Congress can do. That's why he called it a police action.

@guilhermeperazzini We get to say what we want here because people like me fought for the right to do that. I can do nothing to help you leave there. I'm not a lawyer. But if you can get here than you can be part of the fight for immigration amnesty and a rebuilding of the union movement. I'm not signing on to any anti Cuban revolution stuff. It's clear that the US Cuban relationship is one where the US green lighted the Batista coup and has sought to destroy the revolution from the very beginning with or without communism. If you think Mike Pence with his CIA and US Marines are going to solve Venezuelan's problems that you must be wearing historical blinders or have a case of amnesia. The only thing the CIA and US Marines bring to foreign countries is death, destruction and a dictatorship meeting the needs of US Imperialism.
2
@junglechick13 That won't solve anything because its is asking the corrupt two party politicians to do what they can't even begin to do within the current setup. The problem for the working class is having our own political party not trying to reform the two corrupt parties of capitalism. You can't elect a wage increase or do anything constructive without organizing independently from the capitalist classes institutions. A new and fighting labor movement is needed along with a party that represents our interests like the Socialist Workers Party TheMilitant.com

@emilio2647 The Cuban economy collapsing? A joke based in propaganda only. They've kept going despite Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union going capitalist after a deep shock therapy in the Soviet Union and the US Increasing its international sanctions on Cuba. Socialism was eaten out from the inside in the former Soviet Union and Eastern Europe using only the old methods of ever increasing incentives and trying to implement an ideological purity instead of relying on the creativity and power of the working people themselves. Dupont is an example of capitalist greed knowing no boundaries selling Teflon all over the world. Now that almost every human being on earth has the chemicals that make it in their blood and DuPont's cover up has been exposed they paid a big fine of 16 million dollars. LOL They probably make that in about an hours time. Do you like having Teflon in your blood? The number who will die and suffer birth defects is almost unfathomable. They kept selling and polluting because of the big profits. They knew at least as far back as the 1960's it was a danger. Its like agent orange in Vietnam. Profits and a victory for capitalism came first. Human health last. After all it wasn't sprayed on the lawns of the rich. Their children weren't sent to die in Vietnam to prop up an American capitalist dictatorship.

The problem here is the refusal of the Venezuelan United Socialist Party leaders to move down a real socialist road like Fidel Castro did in Cuba. Instead of constant dialogue with the capitalist opposition and all the talk about all Venezuela's being brothers they need to organize and lead a revolutionary movement that can put Venezuela's working class into power. This is now the second coup attempt the first being when Chavez was President. The idea that the workers in the US can halt the US governments actions on foreign policy is pure utopianism. They can win but only if the follow the Cuba revolutions road. To continue the current policy is doomed to failure. A country can not be 1/2 socialist and 1/2 capitalist. What good is a pink tide if it doesn't lead to real socialism. This dangerous foolishness leads to opening the door to a US invasion and war.
2
David Quintero The problem is that Maduro refuse to lead a revolution like Fidel Castro and nationalism the Yankees and their supporters down to the nails in their boots.
2
@pattyrobin58 Wrong it is dependent upon Canadian tar sands oil other wise their would be no need for a pipeline down to the Texas and Oklahoma refineries from Canada. Oil comes in different types of crude heavy and light. A mixture is best for refining which is why oil gets transported around the world. Plus most of the oil companies belong to American big business and the profits go into their pockets. Even BP is owned by US investors.

@gloriamartinez4371 Ask them what?
2
Russia and the Nordic countries are all capitalist countries with stock markets and their capitalists all invest in foreign countries where they export more capital than they import making them Imperialist nations.
2
@gloriamartinez4371 "...they don’t do what the US wants..." Sure they do. The New York banks though the International monetary fund and the World bank demand payment on loans and so demand cuts in social services just like the capitalist state and federal government do here in the US. Isn't nice to lend money and get paid back with interests on national and state debt instead of having to pay taxes. You call it a Free Market. I call it being made into a government controlled over taxed debt slave.
2
Russian and Chinese capitalist are both competitors and supporters of capitalism. In all various trading bloc agreements govern who can sell and buy what where. This is what the Trump trade initiatives involve. He seeks better trade deals at the expensive of the EU, Mexico, Canada, China and other trading blocs like the TTP.
2
@MaloneMantooth When the US government gives help it comes with strings attached. They provided lots of military aid, military training and sales to friendly dictatorships like Saudi Arabia and to the old Latin American dictatorships. Other countries asking for help like the US installed puppets in Vietnam and Korea.
2
@MaloneMantooth Who asked for help and what kind of help did they get?
2
@frankiliano7656 Simple Trump has no internal opposition in North Korea that he can use to maneuver against Chairman Kim. Maduro refuses to lead a revolution to overturn capitalism in Venezuela instead he like Chavez thinks Social Democracy is the correct route to follow by leaving the Venezuelan capitalists in power with regulations and state interventions. You can't have a 1/2 socialist and 1/2 capitalist country. . Maduro has allowed the capitalists to trade Bolivars for Dollars at a below market rate which is now creating even more problems with corruption and inflation. This is an example of the worst Utopianism of Social Democrats with their foolish policies of uniting with 'progressive' capitalists. Today the Generals are with Maduro. Tomorrow another Pinochet may seize power and destroy all the gains the Venezuelan working class has made.

@guilhermeperazzini Sorry but some of us "Rich Guys" actually have responsibilities that keep us from just leaving the trailer park and jet setting around the world.

leonardimas1 Forget about boycotting Israeli products. Their is nothing progressive about Hamas. In Israel itself we are seeing joint strikes being carried out dispute nationality. Boycotting Israeli products is counter productive since no significant section of the working class leadership wants it. Hamas is a reactionary Islamic sect.
