I would like read somewhere that other than ending something he actual says he is for something other than a very vague anarchism or in this case he seems to find the bourgeois state quite adequate for surrendering to in face of overwhelming force.

  9. Karl Marx relied upon words having a meaning. An elite could just as well mean the Roman Senate of Julius Cesar or the court of a European Monarchy. A capitalist is clearly a person who's livelihood relies on their business ownership of companies that manufacture commodities and the financing of those business'. Capitalist own and run business' usually through the ownership of joint stock companies. Their wealth comes in the form of profits made by exploiting wage labor. A slave owners wealth came from owning a slave and requiring him to work at his bidding.

  10. No doubt the DSA is social democratic. The are much like the Russian Mensheviks. While they talk socialism the reality is they are quite willing to accept a capitalism with a few reforms putting socialism off to a later day. The logical outcome of the class struggle for the working class and small farmers is socialism. What move the class struggle forward is independent political actions by the working class and small farmers not an alliance with Democratic Party liberals and progressive capitalists.
