  1. So you are repeating what I have heard is a myth - that corsets restrict breathing and so forth. Not if they are warn correctly. There is no need to tight lace. People often find corsets stiff because they are not broken in to the wearer (since people don't wear them much). And old photos of women with tiny waists have often been edited - pinching part of an image is one of the easier ones to do from the beginning of photos.
