@rogermccaslin5963 People can't just wave their hands and say 'wind and solar' like its magic. optimistic projections are that we have nowhere near enough solar panel and wind turbine production to hit our targets. We're way behind for EXISTING use and new, energy intensive projects like the ones in this video put us farther behind. So these towers are going to use fossil fuels to produce water. May be better than desal, but waaaaay more costly than the old plan of just gathering free fossil water. People need to stop acting like energy isn't still a huge obstacle for projects like this. and no he really DOESN'T take that seriously in this video. we have serious shortages of basic things on the horizon. the low-hanging fruit has been picked. The least we can do is be honest about it.
