  1. Your statement that Austrian political parties were almost all divided along ethnic lines is pretty questionable. The Christian social parties, for example, were explicitly NOT ethnic and held many seats in parliament and the regional diets. Also, Peter Judson cites political actions in which Jewish leaders headed mostly non-Jewish coalitions. Otherwise, big fan.
