  1. I suspect this comment section is highly curated, so I doubt this will be seen, but here goes: Fukushima is an ongoing nuclear catastrophe. The Japanese government was still cleaning up during the Olympics. They say they are done, the workers on the ground say its still a disaster and they feel unsafe. It is still poisoning seafood allover the world, and the exact number of deaths is impossible to attribute - I can't prove that THIS cancer was caused by Fukushima! Its a dishonest rhetorical trick. Fukushima gave many more people cancer than is reported. It is NOT cleaned up, and plenty of mainstream and alternative media has pointed out that Japan's response totally sucked and was complicated by outright FRAUD by the company. The 'most pessimistic' estimates are that Chernobyl gave almost a million people cancer. Contaminated products were shipped all over the Soviet Union and resulted in cancers and deaths hundreds or even thousands of miles away. Which Kurzgesagt laughs off like a sick joke. I am not a nuclear physicist. But my entire family was involved in nuclear power. Its INCREDIBLY dangerous and the cost/benefit ratio is pretty tough to calculate. This video is a BIZARRE underestimate of the dangers of nuclear energy- and just dismisses wind, solar, and geothermal to attack COAL - no DUH coal is bad! I knew something bothered me about this channel. Its some kind of weird nuclear energy front. This comment will be deleted like 1984, down the memory hole.
