  5. Pretty simple! It dosenĀ“t matter how many digits the number hase. If you have an odd number, and multiply by 3, plus 1 you always get a even one. The posebilety of getting a odd one next, is less then 50%. So you are going always down, no mater how high the number was!!! Seems like a homeopathic thing for mathematicians! You know itĀ“s hopeless, but you just want to belive there is more to it. You can see the Repetition in the charts clearly, those indicate... it,s always the same! The other thing he mantiont with the PoĀ“lya Conjecture is just a stupid outgrowth as the fascination with prime numbers.... itĀ“s useless, pointless, and you can make up stuff like that as much as you want. If you want, you can construct a formula that crosses a certain specification, at a number as high as you want, just to get it look simple at the begining, makes it hard and limited in options!

  6. Those are scientifically bad numbers! I would question the method and group size! For the skin cream... What is the reason for the rash? How much people from which age group? Why is it, and dose it matter that the groups are different sizes? For the city/gun question.. Are there more city's where gun laws stayed the same and vise versa? Is that difference in group size dependent on a filter like size of the city? Are those city's equally spaced over the country and how compared to population density? Without those background informations, and assuming the group size difference doesn't matter, it's depending on the direction! Improved/worsened 223/75 worse 107/21 better Worsened/improved 223/75 better 107/21 worse That's it! But then asking this in the most dumb country in the world is another scientific endeavor on its own! šŸ¤£ Nearly every answer was more or less stupid! No one got the right conclusion for the given framework! Only difference was that people care less about skin rash then gun law's in the US! That's my conclusion.

  8. DosenĀ“t mater! If you have two possibilities, and you donĀ“t know and have to guess, you will get 50/50 regardless if itĀ“s just one monday or a million times tales in a row! The psychological effect for that specific human would be a whole other story!!! Maby every human would just give the same answer every time. Or just perfectly pragmatic people give 50/50 and every other dose it in a gaussian bell curve from that on. All combined will give 50/50 as far as probable inaccuracy alowes!

  9. Yea, all that secrecy is bulshit! It's very well understood and publicized technology! The real next big thing that's already existing is high resolution fast framerate thermal Imaging. In the US they are limited to a low framerate by law (stupid muricans šŸ¤¦ā€ā™‚ļø) but you can get 60fps 2m pixel with less then 50ms lag from China! Not kidding, China and some German companies make digital thermal Imagers that blow that flir crap right out the water! Budy of mine hase a unit for hunting, and there is no perceptible lag at all. Ant that's just a 5kā‚¬ unit! If you throw a couple grand more at this you shure can make those military tube goggles look like shitty old technology!

  10. Tha fackt is that led lighs are also not lasting as long as they could! They drive them to hard and hot, or use the most crap of power supply so that goes puff first.
