  4. In Germany we even don't have "Santa" as part of the Christmas legend for the most parts. We have the "christkind" in English "Christ Child" and it's the figure how brings the gifts, like an angel send from good, and it has no gender. The "Santa Claus" comes from a different legend from the Bischof Nikolaus von Myra, that is celebrated prior to Christmas at the 6.12. Every year in Germany. This has merged into the "Weihnachtsmann/ santa-claus" And today a lot of idiot's are celebrating Halloween and all this crap, and our own traditions fade away. Our counterpart of Halloween is "neujahrswĂźnschen" but no one dose it enymore.
