  1. As a german sports shooter, i find red dots on anything less intuitive then irons or diopters! But that might be because i am not as used to them! To acquire a sight picture on them i have to first look down the gun to get it somewhat right and then look at the dot.... on my irons i already see wher they are even they are way off. If i use dots like my precision irons or diopters in a controlled way so they come in to sight right away thats not a problem, but if i try to find the dot in some random off situation i canot find them for fuck´s sake! Also the dot is way bigger an more fuzzy then any irons... I think, if you are well trained to put your gun always in the same spot, like us sport shooters but in your specific environment, a dot is faster to point and shoot. But irons and specificely diopters are way more precise and if trained nearly as fast as dots. You muricans also amuse me in your marksman skills... you shoot with pistols at 10 meters ( 11yards) and are proud for hitting a 15cm (6 inch) circle.. Thats the (you fucked up, go home zone) for us at 25 meters (27 yards) 🤭
