  1. Pro Tip! Don´t mount smoke detektors on walls, or near them!! Smoke from a fire brings some heat with it, the convection lets the smoke rise to the ceiling and spreads it sideways. The corners betwen ceiling and walls are preaty much a dead zone!!! Also center the detector as best as you can in the middle of the room for good and early detection! You don´t want it to go of just when the room is already filled up with smoke!!! And it gets filled up with dust over time if you mount it on a wall! Happy surviving!! 😉
