@paulapappelbaum6983 Faaalsch! The schuko is rated for 16A continuous! So you can draw 3,6kW continuous! Just your installation has to consider if you use all that, regularly and calculate your voltage drop right! The schuko was intended as the lower power plug, and the single phase cee plug was thought to be the high power plug, but as it turned out, the schuko is able to handle it, no problem. And today the cee plug is just for uses where polarity matters.

@brumm3653 On campsite and your RV it matters, because you may have separated circuit brakers in your camper setup! If you then get the Polarity wrong, your whole neutral is live and your brakers won't work on a ground fault, and the "neutral" always stays hot! That's why!

You can put 15A plugs in a 20A outlet, but can't put a 20A plug in a 15A outlet!? 🤨 You know that's the wrong way around, aren't you? U protect a user from tripping a breaker, but not from overloading your gear? 🤦‍♂️
