  1. Thats all nice with the 120V don´t killing you so easy, but BIG downside! You need much biger conductor, even for the 240 appliances, because if you have a Ground or Nutral fault, you might not get as much short-circuit current. Burns your house down... not good! Even today, in Europ and the US, most fires come from the electrical instalation! Also Just one leg from three-phase.... is much simpler! US electric grid is a mess!!
