  1. Your north american plugs are just that bad because your sockets have no recess and the pins no isolation! European plugs have round pins, but the geometry of the pins themself does not matter in this case. You could simply make sockets and plugs with those characteristics mendetory, and be backwards copartible. But noooo, because.... MURICA Fuck Yea!!! 🤘🤤
