@mellertid well the space program was basically a way to test rocket tech for missiles while looking peaceful.

4:10 The joke she said: 💲 The joke I expected to hear: 🤏

A line graph and data points with margins of error.
3
I would assume that she means people that think climate doesn't change at all or very little, which would kind of be a strawman. Not sure. It's the anthropogenic part people have an issue with, and rightly so.
2
This is so dumb.
2
Because the climate has never changed before. Just a "scientific" twist on the age old obsession with Doomsday.
2
This all seems like BS, I'm sorry.
2
What a pointless video. 🤦🏻
2
So we only need to build a mirror half the size of the continental US? Yeah, totally doable.
1
I only ever felt an earthquake once in Alaska. It was pretty cool ngl lol
1
Malitol is the worst one.
1
What about the ones that don't?
1
0:25 I don't think that's the case.
1
So the condensate could be considered the "base" form of matter?
1
17:31 That's it??? The US government throws that kind of money around every few months! Are you kidding me??
1
Wow I wrote a long comment and it totally just got deleted. Gotta love YouTube.
1
So biblical predestination scientifically confirmed? This is not a troll.
1
Not yet. Soon though.
1
That's a myth. He wasn't even the originator of the idea. Heliocentrism existed for centuries before Galileo.
1
@VIP-ry6vv kinda. After his initial censure, he was actually asked to write a book about both geo- and helio-centric theories by the succeeding Pope. Basically, he got in trouble when he involved the Bible, then when he wrote that book, it got misinterpreted and people thought he was insulting the Pope who was actually a supporter of Galileo and, understandably, the Pope got pissed.
1
@VIP-ry6vv so more of a social drama than scientific suppression.
1
@VIP-ry6vv are you like mad/offended or something? Lol
1
@VIP-ry6vv I see.
1
They're mad at you because you're blowing the cover on their grift. Lol
1
Hype, bubble, embezzlement, laundering. Seems not even "science" is immune.
1
The FES is itself conspiracy/disinfo?
1
Yeah and what I sprout wings out of my ass and fly to Mars?
1
Some education.
1
I think you were trying a little too hard here, bud.
1
Yes publishing is more important than the actual science because for most of these people it's just about careerism and those sweet sweet grant dollars. Oh and the accolades and media attention they sometimes will get.
1
"Quantum" seems to function a lot like the anarcho prefix in politics. Slap it onto whichever discipline, and suddenly it's cool and interesting.
1
Who cares
1
I hear all sorts of weird sounds all the time, and I'm perfectly fine!
1
Aka a grift.
1
What is up with anglophone countries being at the top of stats like obesity and p*orn use?
1
@thomasvnl found the redditor.
1
Most "medical" science is garbage.
1
Those UFOs are misperceptions of mundane objects like birds or just illusions due to the camera. Lmao UFOs are fake.
1
Yet shills like this woman will still ultimately try to convince you of its ultimate validity.
1
Is it just me, or does talking about hormones make anybody else squeamish, too?
1
Plus the moon is clearly a sphere.
1
@originalchilehed no it doesn't automatically, but it definitely shows spherical bodies floating around are a thing, so it's not unreasonable to think the Earth could be if you couldn't physically prove it.
1
That's not how dimensions work.
1
Protestant moment.
1
A grift maybe.
1
@boterlettersukkel cope.
1
Definitely truth to that.
1
@flookd5516 I arrive at the conclusion that there is tons of junk science because I can actually think and I do have at least some understanding of scientific principles and fields, and scientists themselves often ring the alarm.
1
@flookd5516 it's not dismissing science per se. There is a TON of fraud in science.
1
@flookd5516 it doesn't necessarily mean a significant proportion is fraudulent, but I think the evidence suggests that is the case.
