  1. 1:49 One hears so often how it was only like 1% that lived in cities. The actual proportion goes up and down in different times and cultures. Like in bronze age mesopotamia, I was reading how the urban proportion of the population could have been as high as 40% depending on how what you consider the "metro" of those ancient cities.
