Germany/Germanic people have definitely been part of Western civilization, and have been since late Roman times. Even if one were to concede that Germany is in no way part of Western civilization, by the standard you are using, only post 17th century England/Britain would be Western civilization, which would just be daft. I will point out my criticism here that I think you are letting your English bias get the better of you. Western civilization is much, much more than classical liberalism. Classical liberalism is one small (and recent) facet.

  10. I don't see how that could be true about Hitler's body. Using "thousands" of gallons of fuel and burning the bodies for 12 hours, and they were merely charred and swollen? That is nonsense.

  22.  @beaker126  I literally just said it's not. But putting people in camps doesn't automatically mean the intention is death. The US put Japanese in camps, and the US didn't have the intention of killing them. There is so much conflicting info out there, I am not entirely sure what to believe, though I have my own picture of what the reality may be. Tik is not infallible either, so I'm not going to absorb his material and opinions unquestioningly. Sorry if that's not good enough for you.
