  1. Exactly. Farming, hunting, building things that are *yours*, fishing, etc they require work but are rewarding, peaceful, keeps you fit and healthy, and still leaves plenty of leisure time. And the capacity to think about things while you farm or fish of definitely the there. What is really so great about modern life? That it's so physically easy/secure that it's literally killing us? What's the point.
