@jamesfernick3741 yeah. They can only keep people from noticing things for so long. Some will always be good sheep, but most people see through the BS, we simply get gaslit into thinking everybody else but like us and a few other people we personally know aren't sheep.

I remember trying to get a job after 2008. I was still in high school, and a couple years into the recession, NASA had also been slowing down, so even former engineers were reduced to trying to get work at a grocery store for 9 bucks an hour. Bit over a decade later, and it's like everything is backwards. The most basic social structures seem to be slowly coming apart. People are gonna learn what self sufficiency means real soon. Any living family members that lived through the Depression will be familiar with what's coming. We seem to be floating by over here, but I've heard a hypothesis about us. We are only doing so well comparatively because the elites up there flee over here every winter anyway. They gotta keep their vacation spot open, don't they?
