The figures are regarding 'England and Wales' They say that the foreign born population was 10 million in 2021 census, but then we gave leave to remain to 1.1+ million that year, and have beaten that record this year already. I don't think they were filling in the census.... So, its likely not 10 million, its nearer 12.5 million, and then add on the ones that they don't know about and don't want to. Would 15 million be realistic? I think so. If those extra people are here in England and Wales - the extra 5 million - then that makes the true percentage for foreign born at this moment in time nearer 25% 🤷

  2.  @markohenry5891  ah yeah, sorry. I'm talking about 'England and Wales' which is how the do the data, and from my perspective as an Englishman in England. I shall edit to clarify. Thanks.
