it turns out that the Britian we were told is long dead and gone isn't so! I'm so proud of my nation for the quiet solemnity of my people so much more class than the wailing and prostration of some other cultures

@anatolyadyatlov7301 I don't know I think that our diverse nation has remembered yet another plane of weakness in the bedrock of our society. The time when there was 99+% unity over such things as God, Queen, and Country are gone. We have seen the crowds showing respect, the BBC has done their best to highlight those paying tribute with more melanin in their skin, it is clear that the crowds are very very white and lacking the diversity that they tell us is strength. I also see useful idiots at one end helping to fuel the rot of the culture war at ever such a distasteful time I find it quite appalling. And I say this as a republican and an atheist. The rot today is that everyone speaks of the rights that others fought and died for, but none of the responsibilities that come with it. Love or hate the Monarchy that lady exemplified duty and British Values, i salute her for that 👏
